just saw a new ROTF spot during Letterman, and it was awesome!!! there are scenes of Prime just wailing on Megatron in the face multiple times, seen through the trees, halfway through and right at the end YouTube - ROTF Trailer 6-11-2009 thanks to Bgrngod!!! figured id add it to this first post WOW it was EPIC!!!!
lots of new stuff too, but moves very fast-definately saw Starscream reaching down to grab something, right where the camera was (so like hes going for it) most likely Sam
Saw the TV spot as well. Very awesome. The forest battle is shaping up to be truly epic. BUT, this isn't news unless you have a video link, I believe.
I too saw it on Letterman, you beat me to it! Anyway, there were a couple of new things: some Prime/Megs fight shots as mentioned, also a shot of Screamer landing down near a bunch of construction cranes. It didn't appear to be sandy so maybe this is the Megs/Screamer battle scene seen in ShoWest. Finally there was a shot of... Spoiler Long Haul getting parts, including a wheel, blasted off him assumedly by an air strike or soldiers, there were explosions.
I saw it during game 4. I swear I saw a long distance shot of an aircraft carrier broke in half and sinking. Seen from land I think. I could be wrong.
I also saw the carrier sinking. Let me tell you, one thing that has vastly improved just from clips and trailers is the cinematography. The panning, close ups, motion, etc. all looks clear and feels much more sci-fiy in nature.
So how far into Letterman was it when the trailer aired? I can try and catch it tonight with my HD capture card and put it up. Hopefully my card doesn't choke on it too much since it's in an older computer.
Only 13 days left. I remember when tf1 was in theaters and tf2 got the green light. Ive been waitng since!!! hhaha
Well, the crappy quality of my capture card is pretty obvious, but I did manage to capture it in standard def (the HD capturing was too choppy when I was testing it). There are a handful of new shots in it: YouTube - ROTF Trailer 6-11-2009
Front Page is wrong. The Tonight Show is Conan O'Brien (Jay Leno and Johnny Carson before him) Letterman does "The Late Show"
