And who knows, if these movies do well maybe we'll get that! Maybe we'll get the Nightbeat/Muzzle buddy cop movie we've always wanted! Maybe we'll get a Dinobots movie, or a Transformers Road Trip movie, or hell even a Transformers college comedy - this world is literally limitless for potential, that's what's so great about Transformers. It can be serious or silly, with stories about anything, Paramount just has to disregard the stale formulas and let new people come in and go nuts. This is the thing with creative freedom - even if they make something bad it'll at least be more interesting than the bland, formulaic blockbusters most other studios release. It's why I actually liked Zack Snyders Justice League despite not really liking any of his other DC movies - they let the mad dog off the leash and as a result, we got an R-rated four hour Justice League movie, a sentence that still doesn't feel real to say, but hey it's pretty cool that exists now.

I mean no one asked you either, so why are you posting? I need to find this totally real person who thinks G1 is the 'only part of the franchise' since movie fans talk about them a lot yet I haven't run into him on here.

"Let it go and go outside for once." So is the implication that this guy needs to go outside more because of his opinion online, or that he needs to go outside his 'comfort zone' cuz last I checked fans could like and not like whatever they wish, or does that logic only apply to the movie fans with their victim / inferiority complex? Not trying to be a dick but what would you call constant hugbox "lEaVe ThE mOvIeS AlOhohone!" threads, white knighting for the films literally every time someone mentions them in a negative light, responding to anything that isn't radically different (on the surface) with "ew Geewun not realistic alien CGI robots. Blocky, cartoony, not realistic".

I think you'll find more people are asking for proper Transformers films that aren't shit instead of the loud, dumb films with next to no substance we got for more than 10 years. "Redundant", that's adorable, like the first 5 Transformers movies weren't redundant. Oh man.

G1 has never had a live-action movie, none of those fans have been catered to, theatrically outside of a cartoon that's almost 40 years old.

Bayverse has had a decade plus of catering and it failed. There is nothing wrong with taking a different path.

This has got me stoked! I\'ve been wanting a sequel to Bumblebee forever it seems and Beast Alliance should be cool since I actually started with Beast Wars. I wonder if this new standalone film will be that rumored Cybertron movie? I would love to see an origin movie that centers on Optimus and Megatron. I can\'t wait to see the designs!
