    No harm.

How about posting a solution instead?

the solution has already been posted multiple times, as a matter of fact in my last post. in the vast majority of cases a flip up panel could be integrated into the arm to hide the hole in the arm when the hand is flipped out and not obstruct transformations at all.

I've searched the radicon threads and no solution though.

Where is this flip up panel?

How about cutting some action figures bubbles, painting them and shaping to fit? Done.

I don't care enough to be bother by hollow forearms (or any hollow bit for that matter). Sure, having a panel flip up or slide out to fill the gap would be nice, but it isn't something that I feel is necessary.

I use old credit cards cut to size and painted, then just pop 'em in, easy to take off when i transform them to alt mode.
    Wait...... Parts forming!!!!

to play devil's advocate. it may not be the cost, it may be the size of the panels may be too small to pass safety requirements

So that's two new parts that would need to be molded as well as two pins that'd need to be installed.

For something that is usually only visible from the underside or behind.

What a great way to inflate costs for no reason.

If it means the loss of a vital accessory in order to stay within a budget, then yes, it would make me unhappy. The Legends figures already are suffering from that line of thought. I'd be perfectly fine with the idea of Kickback not having knees or elbows in order for him to come with his freaking weapon...I'm not about to want that for deluxes too.

on this subject we are clearly in extreme disagreement. I always would value articulation and design of the main toy and over accessories.

I'm only okay with it if it's part of the transformation. So Deluxe Hardhead is fine but Leader PMOP bothers me.

It's annoying and I'd prefer an extra panel but it is what it is. It's not a dealbreaker and it doesn't really bother me.

At that point, just buy the G1 toy. I want updated Transformers with articulation. I agree I wish it came with a gun but There's plenty of options out there to put a gun in its' hand.

I hadn't thought of that as the assumption is that since relatively recent figures have had comparable parts. but it is entirely possible that the safety regulations noose may have tightened again in last few years.

I already have it. But, regardless of opinion, my point stands. You include something that strays outside the budget, something else gets axed.

I am legitimately and sincerely happy for you that you feel that way. I just wish I did too. I do like the majority of the designs honestly despite my reservations about headmasters in general. But for me the devil is in the details and some details I seemingly cant overlook :/

If it's because the fists need to flip inside and the figure isn't big/expensive enough to justify covering it up, then fine. If it's just hollow or made of waffle in order to use less plastic, then screw that.
