I was hoping we'd get Rescue Bots representation in Legacy, but I didn't think they'd actually do it. Hopefully, Medix won't be the only one. It'd be pretty stupid of them not to include any of the main cast. Where's my boy Heatwave, Hasbro?

 

I don't really know about the other Medix(s) but I know the one from rescue bots academy, a show that I've never watched and that I'm too old for

In most parts of the world yes. But if you are in the United States, the only way to get her at the moment, is to pay insane markup prices as an import. She was on Pulse and sold out before the premium member block was removed (so like less than 2 hours).

In the United States Minerva is a Walgreens exclusive, but is still not available on that site (will likely not be in store for the reasons I mentioned earlier in this thread)...needless to say, most of us are still waiting.

Who knew Legacy Skids would become the autobot equivalent of the Seeker mold...

Seems cool, I'm kinda amazed the mileage they're getting out of that mold. I remember when people were like "They made a new mold for Skids? What a waste"  

 

So this is how Hasbro FINALLY gets me into Rescue Bots after the last decade-plus of me saying no to it due to there not being any Decepticons in it.

I'm 85% positive Heatwave is already planned for the line, I can see it going 1 of 3 ways, either the boring yet obvious option that he's just a retooled Kingdom Inferno, the more interesting option where he's a more heavily retooled Legacy Bulkhead, or finally that he's retooled from the upcoming Legacy "Animated Universe" Optimus Prime which was also a firetruck.

 

Is no one gonna point out the red clear weapons???? Theyre from the elita mold right those that mean were gonna get another repaint from that mold

I don't have any nostalgia for either Rescue Bots Medix or the BotCon CW Medix, but this one is great for me. As long as this Medix isn't too exclusive, I'll happily get him in place of a second Crankcase. He's already mostly white, which means he'll be much easier to repaint & rehead into a custom USPS LLV Autobot.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Rescue Bots in Legacy. I definitely still want a Whirl and Quickshadow.

 

and these days with so much available to stream (a lot for free), kids can grow up with anything from the 1984 cartoon to Earthspark
