Ya so basically I got me some of Alsa's KILLER CHROME and went to town! The chrome is slightly more tricky to work with than I thought! The nozzle's the give you spit and its just horrible! I paint cars for a living, and I cant have imperfections in any coat. Killer Chrome is fun but, base coats need to be smooth as glass, hence the term "chrome fx". So far all that has been used for this project is adhesion promoter, Alsa's Killer Chrome and HOK K11 Kandy Apple Anyway enjoy my wip G1/movieverse Kromed and kandied Sideswipe!
so u bought the killer chrome spray can? wouldnt it been better if u had used an Airbrush? gettin the paint out of the CAN...... the cans are cheaper than the 4oz bottles of mirror chrome..... i wonder if it still gives the same results.....
I hope to see much better pictures soon. Sun would be great lighting for kandy to glow. I am doing the same thing with a Leader prime. But if you paint cars, than you know what I have to do to make the flames!!!! How long you been painting cars? Oh yea, buy Alclad II instead of Alsa. Same exact stuff, but 1/10th the price!!!
I just got done with a ton of frisket scallops on a voyager prime! I dont even want to think of flames lol! 7 years now...cough...cough Lesson learned. I do like the killer clear! Dry and gourgeous shine in like 20 minutes!
I have a ton of cups i should try it. I think after this fiasco is complete I will go back to alclad.
I agree Alsa's Killer clear is great stuff but all of there stuff is way expensive. You did a great job on your paint job. I'll be posting up my Sideswipe soon

So you cleared it with killer clear? That is the one with the catalyst in the can you bust at the bottom right? There are some other radicons that do some auto painting as well. Ya killer clear! I like it a lot, but it seems as though everything in their video is not what I recieved. I suppose Its best that it was'nt the can with the catalyst cuz now I get to use it more. (assuming it solidifies once activated.) You guys do some awesome work! I wish I could move to the Dominican! I do some bowling pins also. I got a guy that hooks me up for a pitcher! They are all beat to hell though so I spend most of my time filling.

Yea, alsa aint cheap... Scares my wallet just thinking about it. Outside of the sputtering, is it worth the price you payed for it??
You guys? HAHA. That is all me. body work to wet sand and buff baby!! I don't really like other people touching the stuff I do. I have had WAY to many issues. But I have before. I thought the killer clear was from the killer canz. My bad. Ever since I did a promo show for alsa, I have never seen the justification of there prices. (Just between painters)
