    Hi,

I placed an order for a non-Transformers toy on HobbyLink Japan; it was in "Low Stock" when I ordered it and received the confirmation email (even charged the proper shipping cost), but became "Backordered" a few hours later. Does that mean that the item sold out after my order was placed, or is my own order on backorder?

    Thanks!

If you ordered it while it was Low Stock it means you got it, I have the same experience.
I got a Gundam Model that was in low stock then it went to backordered after I bought it, I still got it in the mail in the expected time, so it SHOULD be fine for you as well.

Thanks so much! Hopefully that's the case with my order too...

Did this happen to anyone else btw?

Yes this happened to me Friday. Ordered something, received confirmation, even went into my private warehouse. Then it showed the item as being discontinued. I'm guessing I bought the last one? Another thing, this item was low stock earlier in the week, then went to discontinued, then back to low stock. Was thinking maybe someone cancelled an order that opened it up for me...i hope.

I ordered something last night that was in low stock, but when I got my payment info, the item wasn't listed in the details (I wasn't charged for it) and now the thing is listed as discontinued. Does that mean I didn't get the thing since I haven't been charged for it?

    Ok...another HLJ Question:

I just signed into my account and checked my open orders. I had pre-ordered MP-17 and MP-18, and I figured I would look in to see if anything had changed. Under status for both figures it says "Order Stop." This has me a bit concerned.

Anyone know what that means? Is that a canceled pre-order? Does anyone/everyone else have this? Or is this totally normal for pre-ordered figures and I shouldn't be concerned. This is my first time doing business with them and I don't know their protocols.

    Thanks!

And now I see this is totally the wrong forum. That's what you get when you search and don't pay attention. Sorry. I'll just make a new thread over in the Toy forum.

It just means they're not currently taking anymore orders for those figures. Your order still exists.

Glad you guys figured it out the ironic thing that happened to me when I first ordered from them, the bank put a stop on it without ever calling or informing me luckily all my items were actually still in my cart, just hadn't processed the transfer of funds.

So I was worried about it being the site but it was my own bank.
