    Hi,

I placed an order for a non-Transformers toy on HobbyLink Japan; it was in "Low Stock" when I ordered it and received the confirmation email (even charged the proper shipping cost), but became "Backordered" a few hours later. Does that mean that the item sold out after my order was placed, or is my own order on backorder?

    Thanks!

Most likely, you bought the last one. Can't hurt to email them to check though!

Exactly what Scotty P said. Basically HLJ were low on stock when you ordered and then sold out, so you got in right before they did. Because the website runs on a stock control database (as in the website knows how many are in stock and won't allow you to order more than what's available) you should be fine.
