    He's sort'a a super soldier. But, he's really a cyborg.

Black Superman vs the Rock and Jason Statham's families sounds batshit insane.

Even though the trailer showed too much, I'm interested :D  Looks like a decent summer popcorn flick.

too much, shit they showed like the entire movie, in order. lol.
I will still probably see it in theaters.
I still think that if the F/F franchise does NOT go to space in FFX then they have failed this franchise.

since they turned into action movies they show the short film version of the whole movie in the trailers, along with 3rd act scenes that i still think should not be shown but somehow i still end up watching the films.....

You can actually save a ticket by watching the trailer. It's incredibly pointless how much they show, these days.

I'm still so surprised they blew the secret of Terminator Genisys in the trailer(s) and ruined the twist. It wouldn't have saved the film, but it might've given it a little bit of a leg to stand on for a while and that tells me they had zero faith in the product.

Terminator Genisys probably had the worse trailer spoiler of all time with Batman v. Superman.

I will never understand why anyone would willingly spoil such a major plot twist in the trailer. It would be like the Russos debuting the Endgame trailer and saying "See?! This is how it ends!" whoever is in charge of trailers needs to be fired and someone with a sense of mystery should step in and get you salivating.

Fully agree with you here. It makes perfect sense, though. At most companies the people who make the movies are not in charge of the trailers, it’s the marketing department. All they care about is selling as much tickets as possible, so they’ll show anything and everything if needed.

Want a good sign that a studio knows it has a stinker on its hands? That’s the trailers where they spill everything.

The general moviegoing public doesn’t normally do that much research on a film, so they’ll think there is MORE than those scenes, when in fact those were ALL the moneyshots the movie has and the rest is not as good. This goes for action movies as well as comedy (where all the fun bits are already in the trailer). Not a jab at ‘the masses’, just not everyone is doing as much research as some of ‘us’ (I hope I can say that, right? We’re on a pretty hardcore/niche part of the internetz since we’re on an oldskool message board about Transformers :)  :)  ).

This is also why they still put ‘from the producer of...’ on posters. Most of the time the producer is the person bringing in the money and making sure the project is made - not the one with the vision (unless said producer hires a dummy director who he can just force his ideas on). Gives you literally zero idea on what the actual quality of a movie will be...but hey, the poster mentions Lord of the Rings!

Stuff like Marvel can afford it now cos they’ve got such a track record they are assured of sales and worth of mouth, luckily. :)

I wish Johnson could have team-up with Cena and forget their rivalry in the next fast and furious.

I have no interest in the FF series. I think the last one I even saw was FF2? But THIS movie just looks like a lot of fun, lol!

It’s funny and sounds out of place, but it’s also somehow accurate
