Hobbies I'd like to get into

My interest in Transformers is just a small aspect of a greater interest in robots in popular culture and actual real world robotics. As such I tend to collect anything robot related from action figures like Transformers and Star Wars Droids to robotic pets like FurReal Friends.
Unfortunately I am having to rebuild my collection after selling everything several years ago. Everything from my four Sony Aibos to several tubs full of Transformers and various other robot figures gone. I made a hugely stupid mistake. Worse I don't have near the amount of free cash that I used to so I'll probably not be able to replace much of it. I'm basically starting from scratch all over again.

    Previously
Drawing- I was pretty good at the drawing part but realized I was colour blind in high school, I gave up.
Photography- sold my cameras and lenses. I lost my job a few year back.
Kyokyushinkai- martial arts was fun. I would like to go back.
Video games- stopped collecting back in 2001,back again 2003, stopped again 2007.

    now
    Kitbashing- On and off.
Collecting sand- Mostly from resorts all over the world. Almost got caught once at the airport with 2 litres of it. I told the guys at machines, that the bottle full of sand was filled with Putangi Namo. A powdered version of some ethnic spice for Tuyo (smelly dried fish that you fry). Not to be mistaken for Putang ina mo.

Baking, Cake Decorating, Drawing, Halo, Skyrim, Reading LOTS of books, Hiking (if I manage to get around to doing it), watching Movies, dvds and Doctor who (seriously, I watch quite a bit of Doctor Who!)

Cake Decorating, I only started doing a couple of years ago because I wanted to make a special cake for my brother and now I do cakes for all members of my family with a bit of help. Last Month I made a Thundercats one and I guess it's just going to be trickier each year!

As for drawing, I just doodle when I get the chance, nothing fancy really.
