I got this falcon at my local Ross. It's a soft plastic and the whole thing feels light and hollow. But I can't really complain too much for $6. Keeping it in the car....
High: Pretty great flea market day. (weird that Blathers is the Japanese version, I almost didn't notice that). Low: I guess Link being a knockoff might count as one, but he was $2 so whatever.
High: Picked up two of Gamestop's in-house brand POP! cases - just as good as the official POP! Stacks but 2/3rds the price and far less likely to self-destruct when handled - to finally seal my prized LootCrate Tracer and Vaulted Epic Mickey vinyls against dust. Low: probably the only hobby buying I'm going to do for the rest of the year short of the $20 sub service that mails me POP every month. MMC Carnifex is the most expensive damn toy I've ever bought and with Christmas coming up I need the money for gifts. Honestly, I have to say I'm pretty set with what I have at the moment anyway since Transformers as a whole isn't really grabbing me too much with TR.
HIGH: Gamestop is still blowing out the MU, lol. Got Vulture, Doc Ock, and Shana for $2.97. And grabbed a Black Cat for $4 at a TJ Maxx. LOW: none
Kotobukiya ArtFX+ - Rogue Kotobukiya Bishoujo - Spider-Gwen The Walking Dead Book 13 Bleach Volume 1 SDCC 2016 Mega Man X-Boost PAK FFXV - Prompto PAK FFXV - Gladiolus PAK FFXV - Noctis PAK Batman: AK - Nightwing Would've been sweet if I had gotten FFXV today as well.
I like the way this mold turned out. We always complain about skinny iron men.. Low: All the deluxe sets in this line. They cost upwards of $11 even at the discount stores. You're basically getting one figure you do want and some other thing(s) you don't want. I'm into them for $5, but the price on the deluxe sets is unacceptable.
High: Low: Hero Mashers Daredevil. I don't know why they used such a bulky body for this guy. Could have been a way better figure if they used the Deadpool body.
This is definitely a high for me and the beginning of something great from Bandai's Hi-Metal R line I usually don't buy "lows" but I suppose I could put any Marvel Legend or Star Wars Black Series figures here since they are the lowest quality figures in my collection. Thing is, I still like a lot of them, bad as they are.
I dunno if this is a high or a low, but just realised I had a collection of plushies... And I can't figure out what these mean in my collection. They're both kinda like subconscious urges...
It gets worse. I saw Terrakion for like $3 so bought four in my HLJ loot two months ago. That Snorlax is a Mocchi and the softest plush ever And was already a second buy after getting the first one as a gift and liking it so much. I had to get more. A psyduck, eevee and three marills later, I discover the mushrooms. Looted two of those then put a green mushroom and three red shells on back order. So come shipping time, and OMG I just paid ¥16000 in shipping and that doesn't include the back orders or Psyduck I left in the loot - NO MORE GIANT PLUSHIES! May need more poke balls..
And I was two days out from nabbing this rocket launcher plush. On second thoughts, now that I see how big it is and all that shipping I just paid, I think I'm glad I missed it. But boy, that is one cool soft toy!
The ultimate high This figure is so good, it's nearly perfect. It just jumped up to being my favorite in the 6" range from any line (I know it's technically larger).
Okay, that was fucking irresponsible of me. Second package of three. How big did that friggen box need to be!?!
