What was/is the name of your high school's sport teams name? My high school's team name is the Garnets.
Bobcats. And maroon and gold are horrible school colors because nothing is sold in maroon or gold. For example, whenever they put up streamers in the hallways it was always purple and yellow. And forget trying to dress up school colors for a pep rally. It looked like a clown convention.
Foxes.....i expect at least 4 post saying Bulldogs (seriously can't people be creative...there are at least 3 high school teams called the bulldogs in my area)
If you really want to know... Remember in the ol' days, Compton used to be a white majority neighbor. Compton High School's Team name: Tarbabes. Yes with a black boys as a mascot. Now things are a little P.C. The name bounce around to Tar-Tar Lions. Although the original name still lingers.

Well, the mascots of the two high schools I know about are the Mustangs and Panthers. In my area, at least.
