Definitely an improvement for sure! I used my Cyberfire Bee's forearms for my Stealth Attack BB, so I can't do this for my HO Bee. lol

so are the forearms on your murderbees slightly different shades of yellow too? I think I need to get some painting done an by Bee, Crosshairs, and Evasion Prime.

    Senpai noticed me!

No, but seriously, thanks. I really love your work, so it means a lot to see you here.

Yeah, they are slightly different shades, but it's not so bad, really. I may paint them up soon.

Agreed, I probably will paint them too. Right now, I'm working on taking apart KillerBee's mid leg sections to see if I can swap them for the additional black. Though it won't come apart until I take the pin out holding the thigh piece on. And Since I'm doing this at work, I don't have a hir dryer to heat up the pin to make it easy to come out. Lets Hope My PC kicks enough heat to do the job.

So, bubble bursting time. The Mid Legs on Murderbee, have all sorts of clearance issues and different pegs sizes to fit right on High Octane. This mod would have tons of cutting that unless done absolutly right, would look horrid. So, if you want more black on the lower body, looks like painting is the way to go.

Awesome! I'll do this as soon as I get High Octane BB. However, I only have the regular DOTM BB and I guess I'm going to have to use the arms to balance out the excess yellow on the legs rather than break it up. Either way, awesome mod. The fact that it needs no cutting is just icing on the cake.

Aren't the forearms on HO BB ratcheted? Does the mod affect the use of his forearms?

Not at all, since all you have to do is pop the arms off at the bicep swivel! And they fit perfectly in each others' sockets, with no extra modding!

DotM Bumblebee and Cyberfire Bumblebee are the same mold, just in different colors. So, yeah, other than the different colors (which one could paint if they'd want), it would work given what's been posted.

Also, Burnout, while it sounds very elementary, is there any chance you could make a step-by-step tutorial with some additional photos?

Alright, for Superquad, here's a relatively quick and easy tutorial.

On the backside of each arm, there's the bicep swivel, inside of a simple clip joint.

Simply pop the original arm out (It's quite tricky, I suggest popping off the gauntlet first.) and pop the new one right in. As you can see, they are the same size.

But the real difference is when you compare forearm lengths..

And now for some additional images!

Looks good. Is it hard to replace it?

Not at all! It's as easy as 1, 2, 3. Not even joking.

    1. pop out original arm
    2. pop out DOTM BB arm at the same place
    3. Pop in new arm to socket

Sorry for reviving this thread but I needed to add that the TF Prime RiD Bumblebees arms work for this as well.

On that note has anyone been able to remove the yellow panels from his black arms on the Prime bumblebee? I can do it on high octane and I really want to see if I can swap them but they won't come apart for me. x_x

Let me just post the picture here to give you a better idea. Its a little less bulky I think than cyberfire's arm but I currently don't have one. Was playing around with other ideas before I go order one online. :p

Not bad, but the yellow is not a match, and it's just not movie accurate enough.
