Like a lot of people, I was bothered by HO BB's short forearms, so I decided to fix that. By simply swapping the forearms with those of DOTM Murderbee, he looks much better now. I've also given him a little paint to break up the yellow a bit.

And yes, the new arms DO fit in altmode without any further modifications.

That looks really awesome. The only problem now is that you sacrificed a perfectly good Murder Bee.

I wish that were true. My murderbee was in the scrap parts bin for a long time. Might as well put his parts to some use.. might try a neck/head mod next to replace his dinky little noggin.

Aha, great minds think alike, I see. I was considering posting this myself but hadn't gotten around to pictures. I will say Murderbee's colors look better though, I used the original deco's arms on mine (forget why I even have him, honestly). I also trimmed off a small ridge on the thumb piece so he can make grabby hands now, you should try it. =D If you do manage to swap the head, please post how, I don't know what to do with it.

I'm thinking that I'll need to shave down the neck area and mod in a ball joint there, to fit into the socket of the other BB heads. I'm probably gonna use Murderbee's head, with new paint.

After that, I may see about doing some backpack modding, possibly to emulate Savio Prime's BB.

I only wish he came like this.

It does make the figure look better, which frankly isn't a difficult task, but Please people, don't go about destroying Cyberfire Bumblebees for this. That is the best Movie Bee hands down and deserves better.

Very inventive Burnout and looks good, I was thinking if I ever stumbled upon one of these for free I might paint the eyes orange.

I don't get why everyone's getting onto me for my Cyberfire Murderbee.. he was a result of a failed modification experiment..

you son of a b****.... now you're going to make me get up, buy that bumblebee and go searching for a dotm bee.

i was really debating getting this guy, but the arms were what was killing it so i decided not too. but seeing this.. i want it!

Interesting that the arms are interchangeable like that, nice find. Personally, the arms don't bug me, it's his stubby little thighs that bug me.

They do, with a bit of forcing. I accidentally hurt my thumbnail really badly from popping the original arms off the first time. But they do fit perfectly with either mold.

That is a good improvement in proportions comparing to the original arms. Nice Job!

I agree...when "murder bee" was and is STILL floating around dollar stores and other places. If it were a kinda rare fig..yea..I get that..but a DOTM deluxe like that one? Hell cut away...Theres more if you want em.

looks real cool. Im gunna try this.

With the new arms his proportions look a lot better even with the small thighs. It's the stubby arms that make him look...weird, and really shows the small thighs, the longer arms despite not doing anything to the legs make him look 100% better, and i would hope Hasbro would use these arms on Future High Octane Bee's if they were to re-release the mold in a 2 pack or something...doubt they will but one can hope xD

It's nothing personal against you good man, it's just Cyberfire is something of a cult favorite if you will, much like Elvira :lol

And you know how much some people love her!

I also think DOTM Bee might just have been one of the only ones without gorilla arms.

Just finished this mod. Damn, the original arms are a bugger to take out, but I can't argue with the results once done. To replace his gun, Crosshairs kindly donated his 2 sidearms, which fit in the lower pegholes on the arm guards.
