Was thinking about the recently revealed Skullgrin headsculpt via Darkmount's instructions, so I decided to see if I could find any more of them. I'm not sure who it's going to be, but this is Terradive's alternate headsculpt. Sorry if this has already been posted.

Well, I don't think it's Space Case but I echo the feelings of a late G1 Euro vibe from it.

 

  In the Skullgrin thread, someone jokingly said we'd see Terradive's alt head next. And well...

THERE IT IS.

Anyway, that actually looks pretty damn cool. I wonder what they're gonna call him.

 

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say its Depthcharge.

 

I'm going to go with my original guess and say Space Case. It could work with that head, plus it would be a cool deco.

 

Has a Cyberjet vibe IMO

 

I love Terradive's mold, hate the colors. If the recolor is Depthcharge, think they'll do blue/aqua? Actually, if they emphasize the silver/gold/magenta bits of the BW scheme, it may look very unique for a TF plane.

 

He's getting a new weapon too, right?

 

I'd been kinda hoping for Cyclonus, like an earth-mode Cyclonus, but there's definitely more of a Cyberjet look going on here.

I don't really think a lot of that stuff's particularly worth homaging, but what the hell.

 

Not that I know of, but it wouldn't surprise me. It really depends on who the repaint is. If it's Depthcharge, than keeping the weapon as-is would make sense, but if it's someone like Space Case, than new, or retooled weapon would work better.

 

Hmm. Looks more like Gobots/Jetstorm (Aquaspeeder) or Sizzle (Laser Rod) than any of the G1.5/2 jets. Maybe a bit BM Jetstormish. It's not striking me as obviously intended to be anyone yet.

 

Hmm. I like Terradive's head and name, but I really don't like the colors. Maybe I'll see what's going on with this guy.

Also, what is WITH this thing going on in the instructions lately? I'm this close to saying it's deliberate.

 

Maybe it might be *GASP* foreshadowing? who knows,maybe hasbro seems to have a thing of doing that sometimes nowadays.

 

I hope they keep doing this in the instructions. It generates excitement.

I'd live, but it just wouldn't be as pretty.
