Hipjoints are tight on mine, but it has that right shoulder tab problem by not staying pegged in.

Woiuld love to stick a new head on him & give him the GI Joe Conquest paint scheme with the teeth.

With the trident I get a General Grievous bodyguard vibe.

WOW! What an amazing Transformer! And for 10 bucks!

The amount of conversion was way beyond a normal deluxe figure! Nice job Hasbro!

And the amount of articultion this fig has, should be standard with ALL future TFs...

If it wasnt for the aweful color scheme, this fig would be an easy 10!

I wonder who the repaint will be? Air Raid? Silverbolt? Or a Decepticon???

 

Hopefully Space Case, Depth Charge, or Dogfight.

 

I really dig this mold. The jet mode is sleek with not many robot parts sticking out everywhere and the robot mode is articulated, defined and great looking. I really like the headsculpt and the weapon, they're different from the norm and give the toy a lot of character. My favorite thing about it is the transformation scheme...it really turns most jet Transformer conversions on its ear and does something different than the enire jet nose ends up on the robot's back or as it's chest (not that there's anything wrong with that by the way!). I'm eager to see who the repaint turns out to be, it will be a definite purchase from me!

 

Forget what I said earlier about repainting him as a G.I. Joe Conquest... I want to see Terradive redone as a Cobra Python Patrol Conquest.

Has anyone had an issue with paint issues on this figure? Specifically the area right behind the cockpit that turns into (underside) of the shoulders in robot mode. Mine were a little iffy, but nothing a good ol' sharpie didn't fix. There were still some bleed over issues though with the black paint. Also my nosecone was stuck...very stuck. I had to take a knife to pry it out, thankfully I didn't damage anything.

 

The likeness to depthcharge is fantastic. Especially the "thrusters are hands".

 

No issues with the paint on my figure. It looks really good, as a matter of fact.

 

After reading about some of the issues folks have had with the loose joints on this guy I almost passed him up when I finally saw him last week. I'm glad I broke down and bought him though, he has nice tight joints and can hold many great poses. 

 

Just got one from the local Aldi's. Hip joints were loose but, I fixed that. The transformation was very involved. Very nice figure.

 

Just received mine from TRU! Its a great figure with tight joints, fortunately!   However, it does have the problem with the left shoulder someone pointed out before, but that's its only flaw! Other than that, my initial response is that it has one of the most unique transformations that I've thus far encountered in a deluxe-sized transformer.

He's actually got the same basic transformation scheme as Energon Starscream (which in turn was a slight modification of G2 Smokescreen). There's just a few extra flourishes with the way the wings, nosecone, and hands work.

 

Great TF! Mine is solid and paint apps are good...

Waiting on the eventual Autobot repaint...
