So I bought Jetblade. Normally I'm a fan of new characters over nostalgia, but they don't even try with Jetblade. His name is totally irrelevant (no blade, you see) and his personality and bio are "He is friends with Terradive." Not exactly a well developed persona.

I resolved to make him into someone more interesting, and Ramjet came to mind, in part because this is the only jet mold in recent memory that can kinda-sorta use the jet nose as a weapon in robot mode. Plus he was already white, which means it would be a bit of a gimme. Just the way I like it!



See? He could totally elbow-spike you with that thing!



I know. I left things blue. I'm lazy and suck.



But I make up for it with cool G1-toy-ish chrome and blue stripes on the jet wings!



And that's Mr. Jet in a nutshell. Woohoo!

 

Just don't let the big kids beat him up and steal his fuel tanks. I mean missile launchers.

 

damn i really like the division of colors on this one, they work so well!

Thanks! Now I just need a Thrust & a Dirge to go with him. I know Dirge exists in the same mold, but I think it's high time the seekers actually looked different from each other. Maybe another mold...

Aye! It'd be easy enough to get a Dirge to go with him. However I have a different toy in mind for Dirge. I'll show you, if it doesn't suck.
