Well, I've had Legends Ravage for about a week now, and I'm really liking this little guy. He's much more screen accurate than the deluxe, fits in scale with your other bots, has decent pose-ability, and has a great menacing sort of look to him. The transformation is quite simple but enjoyable. He does turn into a silly little jet that was not in the movie, but hey, he had to turn into something. That hasn't stopped Megs or the Fallen. I wish the jet had some type of landing gear or kick-stand so he could sit flat, but I don't really leave him in jet mode, anyway. Tonight I pulled out Frenzy from HA Barricade (where he normally stays to fill in the chest gap) and stuck him on Ravage's back. The two make a very fiendish pair. I highly recommend picking him up.
Legends HFTD Ravage (plenty of pics) Here's my review for Legends Ravage from the Hunt for the Decepticons line. In my opinion, he's a very, very nice figure. Excellent design, decent posability, and pretty good size for what ravage was in the movie. Pros - Good Detail Nice Alt. Mode Good Design with Decent Transformation (as good as it can get for someone like Ravage) "Proper" Size (in comparison with other figures) Has a Weapon (most legends don't) Overall, just a good-looking figure Cons - Limited Articulation/Posability (the legs/paws don't bend all that much and the head/neck has zero articulation) Tail Still Seems as "Awkward" as Deluxe to me Not many flaws really Took a bunch of pic's to show you guys. Took a few with BB and Soundwave for comparison. Highly recommended figure. Its well worth it if you can get a hold of this guy.
get a second one, an use its hind legs to replace the first ones front legs thatll give him 4 poseable legs
I really dig this guy. One of the few transformers that I keep on my desk. He doesn't have a whole lot of "fiddle" value. He has more of a "I can fit underneath your monitor, sit there, and smile at you" value. Well worth the 4.99
Good review, but thirteen points of articulation is hardly something to list as a con. Hell, most common deluxes have 16-points, so for a Legends, Ravage is incredible. Sure, I wish the head moved a bit, but compared to every other Legends figure out there, this one flat out wins for articulation.
Hey are you able to post a pic with Deluxe Soundwave in bot mode with Ravage in 'jaguar-bot' mode? Thanks!
Just got mine. There's a lot to him for a Legends figure. Tons of detail, fiddlesome transformation scheme and a better alt mode than the Deluxe.
Picked him up. I actually broke my "no more movie stuff" rule to get him and HA Jazz. I think I could do without the deluxe existing now that we have him. Despite the non head and limited leg articulation, I think he is perfect. Highly recommended. He is being displayed being petted by HA Jazz
I'm glad I picked this little guy up ($6 Australian) Makes a nice in scale addition to the other movie figures. regretting not picking up a Deluxe soundwave while he spent all that time warming local shelves. I highly recommend him.
I went to see if the stores in my region had anything new, but all I could find was Legends Ravage. Sad I couldn't find Generations or anything, but glad I got this little guy to cheer me up. This has to be one of the best Legends figures out there. Or at least best of the movie Legends. I surprisingly like his alt-mode more then I thought I would. It actually feels like an alternate mode when compared to what the Deluxe does. It may still be just him folded up in a way that makes him look only slightly different, but it's still better in that it actually feels like a functional mode. It'd be nice if he had some extra joints in his front legs, but...Hey, Legends. Still an awesome little figure.
