Great work. But there's a big issue I have with it... ...I now want a Big Daddy repaint. Come on Hasbro, you know you want to.
My only complaint is the windows of the car.. Currently it looks a bit unfinished.. perhaps a gloss black or something to make it more glass looking.. Other than that.. 100% awesome! *edit* ok 99% awesome, I also would have liked to have seen the side pipes silver or something to match the engine pipes.
Yeah, I kind of went back and forth on whether I should add silver pipes and gloss up the windows. I can always to that later. Oh I knew when I first saw the pics, I was gonna paint him black.
Cool man! Whatever you decide awesome.. He does look REALLY good, someday hopefully my paint apps are so clean!
I did see an episode of American Chopper where the exhaust was power coated black so I figured, why not this.
cool looks mean in black my only critic will b the decals , u need to coat this gem so the decal edges wont b so visable .
It's a phenomenal mold. The only thing that could be better in a mid 30's rod, is a '37 Ford with the headlights frenched into the fenders. And I'm not a Ford guy. I keep wanting to bite the bullet and just buy him from walgreens at full price instead of waiting for him to show up at wal-mart or something. I just wish it wasn't a movie fig and had a classic style robot body. Very classic paint job, primer/satin black with traditional flames. The skulls are a nice touch too. Mathius
