this guy was done moreso because i didn't want the headache of looking for the japanese show exclusive.mods done to them are= original 6 missile launcher salvaged from a junker g2 dreadwing. original dreadwing head salvaged from the same junker.the head was cored out like a cantalope,then had a ball joint cup end fused inside of it. front half of cybertron scout class clocker's head was fused to the back half of rotf skystalker's head,thereby re-using the stock balljoint neck set up. two loonie store army gattling guns had their handles shaved down to fit skystalkers hook weapon's clips. skystalker has had two new holes drilled to be able to mount the gattling cannons to him in jet drone mode. the g2 gecepticon logo's were carefully removed from the junker and then reapplied to these two. i somewhat worked out a mistransformed 3rd mode for dreadwing.it's kinda almost like a wfc/war within/cybertronian hover tank. as soon as i can track down another 6 original dreadwing missiles,then i'll consider him complete. all paints used were tamiya acrylics coated in krylon clearcoat.his 6 red ovals on his wings are red translucent vinyl,added to help him look more g2-ish.the silver stripes in his leading wing edges change color like a cd does in the sunlight.i ended up not doing the funky green/black camo stripe's that the original has on the wings....it just made him look funny. after all's said and done,i'm kinda happy now that i couldn't aquire the japanese exclusive version.

thanks guys. @mrsoundmeister, do you mean the weird combination of trying to stick skystalker to mindwipe when he's in bot mode? if so,i seen it done before but i never really tried it out myself
I like everything about it, except for the heads. On my monitor at least, it doesn't look like those heads mesh with that style, which is a shame since the paintjob is so clean.
I like the little guy's head... where is it from. It's not the original Smokesniper/BB head is it? Nice. You've really captured the spirit of the original duo.
thanks for the comments fellas. to answer a few.... i knda see it too in a way.but the real reason i left alot of the red in there was to help further differentiate them from the actual japanese exclusive set i personally kinda like these heads better instead of just repainting their stock heads. that's also why i chose the heading of "hftd",these two don't really fit in with classics or rotf,but like hftd voyager seaspray,there's some blockyness and some rotf detailings. thanks the head is from cybertron scout class clocker,cut in half and fused to the ground down back half of the stock skystalker head in order to keep the existing ball joint neck combo.
