Sorry to hear that guys. Just call Paypal and talk to a live agent asap. No sense it waiting it out @Shanxs & give the mods a new name for this thread like "hexiaocong841 is now an Ebay Scammer" & update your first post with the new info

 

Just spoke to someone from Paypal and they've raised a case. Unfortunately they're giving the scamming bugger 10 days to respond but at least the ball is rolling. More effective than dealing with it through eBay.

Sad that things should turn out like this, I've only got a couple of 3rd party TF's (good ones though   ) and this is a bitter pill to swallow.

 

No worries bro. Scammers almost never respond to Paypal/Ebay when these cases are raised. As a result this will be slam dunk case in your favor. Just wait out the 10 days and then call Paypal back to confirm the case is settled.

 

and most of the time, paypal need 1 action from you when you have filled in a report.

i have contacted paypal today to return my money.

i took a good look at it.
and the name are different.
when he was legit, my money went to this person: Luhongchuang
my payment for soundwave went to this person: 贺小聪
i'm chinese but i can't read chinese.
i can read the middle part which is this 小, it means small or little.
and it doesn't come in the name Luhongchuang.
because small or little should be written like this: xiao.

 

Surprisingly the seller has responded to Paypal with the tracking number. Thankfully the agent checked the tracking number this morning and he confirmed that it didn't exist. Now the waiting game continues.

 

I ran that new name through Google and it translates to "Hexiao Cong" or "He Xiaocong" for what it's worth.

Nice. Too bad for the scamming seller. Do they not think we can tell if a tracking number is fake?

i mean my chinese name is Hu Xiao shan.
Hu is my last name and xiao shan is my given name.

贺小聪 is the name I have as the recipient of the payment although it previously showed as LUHONGCHUA and the e-mail name is hexiaocong. Got more aliases than a damn spy.

Out of curiosity, when I get this all sorted out. Which of these 2 sellers would you guys deign as trustworthy? Either netclow or zhenbozhenbo201313?

China Ebay Seller Check

 

Ha, no just in regards to how long it takes stuff to reach you from China, seems US is relatively quick. I'm in the UK so we don't seem to be too bad.

Excellent, he's a tad more expensive but now I'll gladly go for reliable form than anything else.
