Posted this on the Junkion but realize it may be better served here. I'd like to buy the head but don't want to pay for all the extra launchers and such. Has anyone got the intention and talent to cast this and sell one to me?

Depending on how much it would cost for someone to fulfill your request, you may want to consider purchasing the kit and re-selling the parts you don't want.

E zero cost in parts development.

Assuming I could do it in one mold like my battle charger heads im guessing 10- 15 shipped and I could paint the face, I will know more about the set once mine arrive

I just have a moral issue to get over, honestly making direct copies of someone else's work kinda sets funny with in the same way I have tried to not do weapons and accessories others have already done

 

I say retool it, if anything. It's a good base to start with, but the headsculpt is 100% red Alert in the helmet, so if you could trim the bottoms of the helmet off so it doesn't hang shredder style and do some work on the "ears", you'd have an awesome Sideswipe head AND pride in the fact that it's not a direct rip.

Hell, I was going to offer to send you my Red Alert head for research purposes!

TJ: Your idea is great, because that is a very Red Head. In fact, I bought the set thinking I'd just do a straight repaint of the thing for Sideswipe, but I fell in love with it for Red Alert. As such, if one were to take the horns down and/or add some other tweaks, I'd gladly pay for such an artistic creation so they'd both be set. I still don't understand why Beelzeboss didn't have another head in the kit.

 

I preordered that thing as soon as it was availible so i didnt order for the sake of this.

My pol arrives tomorrow so i will give it a look-see and i can compare the heads and see what i can come up with

 

ok got mine in and its a great set but the head couldnt be any less sideswipe, but as otheres have said it makes a great base, so its added to my list of up and comings and now that i have mp sideswipe i have some fantastic source material.


gonna take me some time as i have a few other projects to get out.
