There's a couple of things they're calling Pulse exclusive and limited edition as part of this campaign... so that makes me think (no confirmation on this) that we might see a cheaper mass retail version at some point in the future. Which makes sense as I'm sure Hasbro will want to make their money back on having to acquire the rights to this game. I believe the original was owned by Milton Bradley correct? That said... not even 24hrs and more than 50% backing. HeroQuest Game System – Hasbro Pulse I think this will succeed no problem at this point.
My sisters & I would play this all the time. I still have it buried in a closet too, all boxed up. I used to always play the wizard- no one wanted me as DM. I had a habit of wiping out the party pretty regularly. But yeah- hours and hours of enjoyment. Glad to see it’s coming back. I need to watch the big announcement video.
I had the main game and 3 of the four expansions, but my brother stole them for drug money a few year's ago.
Yeah, that ain't happening. There's a reason I moved halfway across the country. The less I have to talk to that little worthless shit, the better.
So, during the Hero Quest panel, they hinted at other sculpts for both heroes and monsters and the possibility of the Euro exclusive expansion sets in the future. Also, they announced that Joe Manganiello is writing his own quest and will come with a boss monster miniature... which will get as the final stretch goal if it hits 4 million. Considering where it's got in three days I think that's entirely possible. Fantastic. Really looking forward to this revival.

Just reached 1.6 million and unlocked the third stretch goal. Just three more unlocks to go. I already felt this was great value, but it'll be even better if everything gets unlocked. The best part is my family is excited to play this. I think my enthusiasm is rubbing off on the kids particularly.
Maybe not, but I'd say there's a pretty good chance. It's only been five days and we're already more than halfway to the 2 million stretch goal. Especially if it keeps the steady pace it has. Even if it doesn't, like I said, I still feel like there's already plenty of value in this set. Edit: Just crunched the numbers and after it hit the 1 million mark on the first day... over the last four days it's made about $153,735 per day. If it keeps going at that pace for the 40 remaining days it'll make an additional $6,149,400 for a grand total of $7,764,340. So as long as it stays steady I think we're good. Of course, it may not and it may putter out at some point or you could have a bigger surge too as I've seen some people say they are going to back later in the campaign on various sites I frequent. Again, though, even if it doesn't make that final 4 million goal I'm still going to be very excited.
We also recently passed the 1.8 million mark and it seems to be well on its way to 2 million. I read an interview recently where they seemed to insinuate that there could possibly be more stretch goals added between the 2 million and 4 million marks. If that is indeed the case it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.
