In 2026 Unicorn could turn up with it being the 40th anniversary of the Transformers movie with a crossover with void Rivals and G.I Joe.
Optimus plans to use the matrix to stop him but has to get in him deep enough to have the best affect but Megatron follows him.
When he uses the matrix his drained and Megatron finishes him and try’s to get the matrix but Hot rod in there and he gets the matrix and is turned into a prime.
He bests Megatron and escapes.
Unicron shuts and is heavily damaged but is not destroyed.
The Quintesson’s clams him and seek to use him.
Using him they rebuilt a damaged Megatron and turns him into Galvatron with the idea to use him and the Decepticons as well.
In 2027 they decided to use Unicron to to bring Optimus back as nemeses Prime and he becomes a Decepticon.
After a period of him as an enemy Rodimus use the matrix to restore his mind and now we have Optimus while having Rodimus who has the Matrix and see how they make it work with two primes alive.

Eh. I guess some of those things could be cool, but Nemesis Prime seems like a bit of a stretch tbh. Some of my ideas are:
-Skywarp and Thundercracker temporarily team up with the Autobots, but immediately switch back when Megatron arrives.
-Shockwave and Megatron duke it out for leadership.
-Somehow Rumble and reflector come back

 

The quintessons will take center stage as their plans evolve. This affects both transformers and void rivals and maybe gi Joe.

Megatron is back as leader, he has his fusion cannon back. Optimus after being badly injured
gets rebuilt as powermaster optimus prime with Spike as the engine.

Unicron is the big bad in 2026 looking to hint the matrix and has hook line and sinker go searching.

 

- Cybertron will be forced back through the space bridge.
- Megatron will return. That's obvious, but I think it would lead to a Decepticon Civil War, with the faction being divided as such:

Either way, the Autobots would have to cool down the conflict because it would inevitably cause massive collateral damage across Earth. Maybe they'll realize Megatron is the only one who can get everyone under control and briefly ally with him to help him bring his remaining troops under command. I also feel like Elita would be opposed to getting involved at all and argue that the civil war is a good way to get rid of most of their enemies.
- Sometime after the space bridge is closed, Cobra-La will make it there (Pythona's already on her way to the Sacred Ring). Perhaps they'll attempt to conquer it (using their spores from the '87 movie?), and then the Autobots, Decepticons, Joes, Cobra, Agorrians, and Zertonians will have to team up to stop them. (I don't expect this to happen for a while.)
- Alternatively, Pythona will meet the Quintessons and strike up and alliance between them and Cobra-La, which then somehow affects the Transformers on Earth.

 

Why is Nemesis prime a bit of a stretch?
In season 3 of the G1 cartoon Optimus was brought back by the Quintesson’s and Hot rod/Rodimus Prime is Robert Kirkman’s favourite transformer so between that and with the 40 anniversary you could think about him getting the matrix.

 

I actually think Megatron's return would be what re-unites the decepticons. Megatron tends to keep his house in order.

 

I think this version of megatron is going to be the toughest we have seen in a long time.

 

I have also thought of Megatron Uniting the decepticon’s and killing starscream and Astrotrain.

 

I imagine he'll kill Starscream pretty quickly, but I think he'll just put Astrotrain in his place, not kill him.

 

Yeah, if he didn’t kill him back when he betrayed him initially, I doubt he’ll do it this time (when he barely did anything)

 

With the 40 anniversary of transformers the movie and the 30th anniversary of Beast wars what if the beast wars characters so up creating a separate alternate timeline with the Preadacons working for Galvatron and have primal saving Optimus life by taking in his spark like the Tv series. The way his spark works with the matrix in the comic may be like the beast wars cartoon.

This way we could have both Galvatron and Megatron.

What do you all think about this ?

 

Beast wars is great. I love beast wars. no shade towards beast wars. but please, for the love of primus, keep g1 and beast wars separate.

 

How do you suppose Megatron can get to America from the Atlantic and with him damaged as he was ?

Can't you people accept that this is its OWN thing, it's own continuity. Things like Beast Wars are completely irrelevant, until and unless they tell us otherwise. And even then, who knows what form it will take/what meaning it will have.

Let go of your preconceptions. This is NOT a continuity we've seen before. IDW has NO relevance, for instance, either continuity. Hell, if I had to liken it to a whole continuity right now, I'd probably choose Dreamwave, I guess.

 

Why can’t Skywarp use Teletraan 1 to repair himself if he used it to repair wheeljack ?

 

Not sure, but he's in Asia, not the Atlantic(?)

I mean I don't want something like Kingdom or ROTB. The bw characters shouldn't interact with the G1 characters and vice versa.

 

Yeah, Cobra-La is based in the Himalayas, so getting to Farmingham would mean crossing the Pacific, not the Atlantic

 

Probably too complicated/near impossible of a fix. Teletran is literally ingrained in his own circuits and spark, and completely relying on his body to work. he'd somehow have to fix himself and find a replacement power source without shutting himself down.

 

Are there any other versions of Astrotrain that hate Megatron ?
