Hi folks.... I'm guessing this guy was really rare since he seems to be going for silly money.... was there ever a universe/classics release, or somewhere cheaper I can gettim? Long shot I know... Thanks :)

the classics version was a botcon exclusive in '07 and is far more expensive than the henkei version afaik. unless you wanna shell out $$$ for either, best bet is to wait if ever hasbro or takara decides to re-release it at some point. hope this helps!

Thanks pal, I figured as much.... Guess maybe there's a chance what with Generations Thrust and Dirge on the way... Or maybe I picked a bad time to start collecting deluxe seekers :)

The BotCon figure was very limited (only 1,500 or so), so the Gentei (Henkei) was in high demand. The Gentei was a store exclusive in Japan, and was made to order. So there are only as many as ordered, but that's still probably a relatively small amount (but likely a lot more than just 1,500).

The quality on the Henkei sucks. The missile launchers will just fall off in bot mode. Dont waste your money on it.

Yeah, I love my Henkei Thundercracker but its far from perfect. Get some clear nail polish and be ready to work. It doesn't take long to fix the issues with TC.

Since thrust and dirge are coming in generations, I think it's safe to assume Thundercracker is too.

Botcon doesn't want us to have an affordable Classics/Universe/Generations Thundercracker.

:lolol  and that's not all. All of the joints on the one I held were looser than a New York city hooker's during fleet week.

BOTCON 07 NERD RAGE!!!!! :Gouki:  ;)

At this point they probably will. If they do, it will be a very non G1 deco like they did with Classics Skywarp and Starscream. That way they can say they didn't totally trample on FP's deco.

Wait is this a serious eeeeeyup or a sarcastic eeeeyup? I am counting the money in my wallet with a worried expression. :lol  j/k

But I wouldn't be surprised if it does sneak it's way into the Generation line for stuff slotted for 2011. I wouldn't expect it this year that is just too much wishful thinking but I would be shocked and grateful.

i have both botcon and henkei. the henkei or gentai like others said has issue with the launchers staying on the arms.

of they make a generations, sweet, the more the merrier in my classics seeker collection!

That's what I'm hoping for. It'll fit in with Starscream and Skywarp much better that way.

Henkei Thundercracker is a great figure if you do the simple fix on the null rays. Considering that Henkei Thrust and Dirge are being released under the Generations line, it's very likely that ol' TC will see a release (at least at some point he'll be re-released I'm sure). I have a Henkei TC, but I think I might go for the Gen. version of him if it happens, though I'm not really interested in the new Thrust and Dirge as I have the Henkei vers. of them. We'll see though, all depends on Habro's paint apps on this guy.

I tightened the screws on the back of my Thundercracker's shoulders and it's fine now. I think just the rotating joint in the shoulder is slightly loose.
