Well as some/most of you know, Takara Released a reissue of Deluxe Rodimus. Now.....I have 2 questions.
1-After shipping itll cost almost 50 bucks for me to own. I'm 16 and only have the BIS Rodimus and always wanted this but I don't know if I can justify $50 for a single deluxe....So, if you were me, would you get it?

    2-are you getting it?

    Thanks for the responses!

I hate the Classics Rodimus mold since it's ugly and I don't think the 50 bucks is worth it for a figure that isn't worth that much.

Depends how into Classics you are, and if you have the Fansproject upgrade for him. I paid $65 shipped for my first one, and may pick up another one for $40. If you have the Fansproject upgrade, I think it is a must. The BiS set looks goofy under the armor. If not, I would say there are better things to spend money on. And I am a classics whore.

Getting it is on my mind, cause that is one shiny spoiler. I have BiS and Classics Rodimus, so like brr-icy, I'm not 100% sold on it.

Nope. Got Henkei Rodimus when he was first out at a local chinese mall in my area.

And yes, I would get it. I have the BiS one and I personally think that deco is crap, especially if you're planning on getting Protector. I only got that set for the Cyclonus and the Matrix accessory.

I agree, I have a BiS Roddy. Besides the fact he doesn't match the Fans Project Protector, the BiS mold is very shotty. I'm buying it. ;)

Personally, I wouldn't. The Battle in Space version is my favorite deco that mold's ever had. I even sold my Classics Rodimus once I got it. BiS has the proper yellow spoiler, and all sorts of show-accurate paint details like additional red on the helmet, gray hands and boots, and orange and yellow wrist details that the classics and henkei versions lack. He's the most show accurate deco available. Henkei comes close to an accurate deco (chest and wrists), but not all the way.

I have the Challenge at Cybertron version of Rodimus and too pre-ordered Henkei Rodimus Reissue. I just hate some of the grey parts on CaC Rodimus that should have been black and that the flame on his chest is barely distinguishable from the orange parts and that his canopy is opaque. I thought of maybe mixing parts, because I like the red on the CaC Rodimus version. Maybe replacing the outer parts (legs and arms) on Henkei Rodimus with the red parts of CaC.

But it's true. The mold isn't that great. If there would be a new mold of Rodimus, I would greatly prefer to get that one, instead of the old chunky one again. It's just that Rodimus is my favourite Autobot and I want him to look as good as he can ;)

If you're price conscious, there are better ways to spend your cash.

What are BiS Rodimus' hands made out of? It doesn't even seem to be plastic. It looks like the material they use for grey prototypes.

I'm getting a Protector Armor set with a classics Rodimus from some one on this site, since I hated the BIS rodimus. I would say pick it up before people buy them all and up the price again
