TLDR: What glue would best to put this piece of G1 Galvatron back together? Am guessing it is polypropylene.

So, right up front I will admit that I am not a smart person. I don't have a creative or thoughtful bone in my body. When I took the ASVAB (military entrance test) my worst result was in the tools/working with your hands section.

That said, I'm trying to fix up an old Galvatron. This little piece goes in the upper leg and works as part of the ratchet. It has broken apart and I'm not sure how to get it back to together. I've tried Gorilla Glue and Loctite but neither worked so I'm guessing this is a polypropylene plastic piece. Can anyone recommend a glue that would work? Would something like J-B Weld Plasticbonder work? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Considering that the piece needs to flex, it's generally unfixable. Any time a piece that requires some type of pressure movement breaks, repairing it is more or less fruitless.
