So this has been going on for a while now (since 10/1/07), and i recently gotten a PS3 for X-Mas...though i said wont be using the PS3 as a movie player, i figure since it's free why not...and eventually i might cave in using it something other than a game console. But the thing though, the choices aren't that great (It's one per category)... Cat 1: The Prestige, Wild Hogs, or Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Cat 2: Swordfish, Superman, or Full Metal Jacket Cat 3: Stif of Echoes, American Psycho, or The Devil's Rejects Cat 4: The Patriot, S.W.A.T., or Ultraviolet Cat 5: Chain Reaction, Omen 666, Flight of the Phoenix, Species, Hart's War, or The Last Waltz so for those did this, what did you get and how was it (was the transfer good, the extras good, etc)...and those that didn't, what would you get if you had the choice? I wouldnt get that version of Full Metal Jacket. The version that they are giving out is the previously released one with horrible transfer. There is a newer one out with a black cover as opposed to the white cover.
I was part of the last offer and my movies were a lot crappier. I didn't have good movies to get like Wild Hogs and John Travolta's masterpiece, Swordfish.

Get store credit, and used it for whatever/games.

Cat 1: The Prestige Cat 2: Full Metal Jacket Cat 3: American Psycho, or The Devil's Rejects Cat 4: ummmm none of them but if you had to choose, the Patriot Cat 5: none of them also but if you had to choose, Flight of the Phoenix or Hart's War Id recommend on the last two, get whichever, choose a store you like, buy the blue ray of that movie and get a gift recipt for each. Then a day or two later, return the DVDs for the cash recipt first. Then later, take those freebies with the gift recipt and use them to exchange for something you want.
What the hell, my votes w/ reasoning: Cat 1: The Prestige OR Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Could go either way. I'd say this is a personal judgement call, but the latter would probably benefit more from the Blu-Ray aspect of it all. Cat 2: Full Metal Jacket. Classic. Cat 3: American Psycho. Christian Bale. And it's a great film. Cat 4: The Patriot, S.W.A.T., or Ultraviolet. These all kinda suck. So I'd probably go with SWAT for the big Blu-Ray explosions and action scenes. Cat 5: Flight of the Phoenix. Especially if it's the original. Never saw the remake, though.
