So far I have Dropshot, Roadbuster, Acidstorm, and now Countdown. I was looking at my figures and narrowed it down to 2. Wingblade or Jetstorm? I think I know which one I'll use but I am curious to hear what you all have to say.

 

Wingblade for sure. It fits with your aesthetics of a green body and copper chest. If you wanted Jetstorm to have a copper chest, the nose of the plane would have to be painted that color.

I imagine the plane to be mostly green and the details, engines copper. Whatever you do, I'm sure it will be great.

jetstorm b/c he has hands and would look cool as a military aircraft, but if you followed the poster above, and gave wingblade hands, that would be awesome. WingBlade is massive and just looks battle ready.

 

Wingblade looks much more imposing and would fit better with that ragtag group you've got there. And I agree completely on the hands. Keep those guns somehow, but give him some hands.

 

Whoever I pick definitely needs the power of hands. It will take a while before I get to this custom but I will look for the right hands.

I think either will look cool in that color scheme. The downside of Wingblade is that I kind of wanted to paint him up to match my Cybertron Optimus so that they would look good combined but I also have plans for Jetstorm.

 

Wingblade does have hands of a sort, some of the gun barrels slide back to give him 5 fingered hands. I know they aren't the greatest but he does have em.

 

I'd go for Wingblade as well. Of the two I liked his the best.

wingblades bot mode fits more in line with your crew

 

I don't see bot mode as an issue, they both have the same aesthetics. Thing is, they're all military bots with lots of weapons. Due to this, I don't see the Transport plane (jetfire repaint) fitting in with the group at all.

I'd like to see you add Wingblade, Energon Bulkhead, Universe Onslaught, and maybe a Classics Jetfire repaint in your group, that'd be sweet. You'd end up with 4 land-based alt-modes and 4 air-based.

 

I don't see a problem there... just needs a little modification  

 

I still don't think it fits. yeah it has a minigun mounted on the side, but it's primary mission is still a Transport.

I liked the idea of a heavy slow moving plane but I think I will go with Wingblade because of all the firepower.

 

Since you want fists, maybe you can get a casting of a pair of fists and modify them to slip over the gunfingers in bot mode so you can remove them for A-10 mode?
