    i think the motorcycle mode is just a little bit longer then swerve...but you could fold the wheels up like they are on ransack in robot mode, and that would make it shorter....

    I'll need to figure out how I'm going to piece these guys together. If I go with the Energon Stormjet/Windrazor/Blight route, then they'd be able to connect naturally. Just have to figure out how to connect the others. Also, I plan on making use of the G1 footplates.

    I'd move this sort of thing to the kitbashing forum, but (A) this is more toy specific and (B) it's all speculation at this point.

    if you didnt worry about them combining, you could use different sized molds because they wouldnt look odd together...but then they wouldnt combine either...

    considering Swerve's legs fold out, and then the waist/thigh joints would serve as an elbow as a result, then I don't think it'll be a problem, but you'll still want to measure things to check so you don't have a Gimpy arm. They're both scout class molds though.

    Redline: did you by chance post a how-to when you created your menasor? I want to look at pics of that project as a reference.

    Right now, as far as Scattershot goes, I'm thinking of using Cyb Metroplex as a base. I'll have to figure out how I'm going to give him a huge cannon, but I kinda like the idea of attaching the smaller figs to him.

    I think if you use metroplex that your arms are going to be tiny, as are the shins, in comparison to the main body and thighs. You could add-on forearms from something else, ala devastator, but you'll have a ton of parts lyin' around if you go that route, and that won't help the shins any. I didn't do a how-to per-se, but I did go into pretty good detail throughout the WIP thread.

    Bought some junker parts and loose figures from Squall42080. One of them was an Optimal Optimus. I'm thinking I could use the wings and back mounted cannons for Scattershot. Then I thought: why not try bashing the whole figure into Scattershot somehow? Just have to figure out a way to cover up the beast mode parts and make him look more robotic. Any other figure recommendations for Scattershot?

    What do you guys think of Cyb Excellion as Lightspeed? He'd be more on scale with Landmine if they were the feet.

    If you went with Blight for Nosecone you could use the Energon Insecticon Drill for your Nosecone. This way, all of the limbs would be the same size.

    I just added that to the want list. I also have a Cyb Menasor with a good sized drill. Perhaps I could use that as well?

    I have been kicking this idea around for awhile...even got the parts. This is my personal take on this matter:

    [IMG]

    Galaxy Force Starscream = Scattershot
    Clocker = Lightspeed
    Ransack = Afterburner
    Skyblast = Strafe
    Signal Flare = Nosecone

    My main concern is who would be Strafe if I opted for the use of deluxe figures as the limbs? Also, would Ransack still be a good choice despite being a scout size figure? Looks very cool btw.

    Did you get them all to connect yet?

    No, this was just a test shot. Did it after I saw your post. The Energon Slugslinger suggestion from your other post works well also as a Deluxe Strafe.

    I thought about using Scattorshot but he is slightly shorter in ALT mode than Signal Flare...not by much but enough to make him look funny against Clocker.

    I actually have Offshoot, a repaint of Signal Flare so an all scout class Computron could work. Scattershot is still a challenge though.
