I know it's a Megatron gun. I just don't know by whom. Which model is this and who made it? Does anyone know? Greatly appreciated if you do!

 

Looks like a cheap knockoff Megatron gun that would come with a seeker or Soundwave. Do you have something you could place by it for scale?

I've seen that before but can't remember which one it goes with. It isn't off a KO. I remember the stock comes off so you can put it into the hand hole.

I don't, unfortunately. Saw it in a seller's lot. He also doesn't seem to know the original source for the gun either.

No. It's a lot larger. It's intended for 5mm post fists so standard Legends/Deluxes/Voyager/Leaders etc. can use it.

I haven't checked TFWIKI thoroughly for every model of Megatron's guns. My current recollection is that all of the guns have the standard Walther P-38 look. I'll check them over again.

It's still not the same if you compare the two.

I've seen it before too because I have it for one of my figures. That long handle is a give away because it was designed to fit in the hand and the stock was angled so it wouldn't hit the lower arm. I thought it looked weird when I got one but I can't recall which one it was for. I only collect MP so unless I'm way off it's for a MP of some kind.

 

It looks *similar* in design to the gun that came with Revoltech Starscream. Maybe an upsized, slightly modded version for a KO?

 

That might be where I saw it. I have that figure but he's still in the box.

Oh no problem opening it. I'm just at work right now but I can check it when I get home and take a better picture for you if that's it. It might be the same one that came with Prime or Megatron as I have those as well in boxes on the same shelf. I'd display them but I never got around to it. I'll check for you. Just set a reminder on my phone

That and the Shockwave gun are the only reason I bought that kit.

 

That's half the kit. It's two guns, a head and a replacement for his fist. Good stuff. I have one on my CHUG shelf.

 

I know. I tried using the rest of the kit to turn a GDO Wheelie into a Shockblast but it didnt turn out well.
