Hello, I'm trying to track down the name of a series of toys from my childhood and I was wondering if anyone here might know what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, I don't have much to go on because I can't remember the name of the toys and I can't find a picture of them either. However, I DO remember the toys vividly. They were a series of action figures / vehicles that came out in the 80s. The toys gimmick was that they could transform from one vehicle into another (no, it's not M.A.S.K.). The toys themselves were futuristic looking and came with tiny plastic troops. Some vehicles that I had were motorized and if you pressed a button, the toy would transform by itself. Although, other parts of the transformation had to be done manually. The troops that came with them had a variety of poses. Some carried laser rifles, others comunication sets and some were molded to fit in the cockpit of the vehicles. There were two colors of troops: one was kakhi colored with brown details, and the other was black colored with red details. I've been trying to find the name of this series or photos or anything for days and have come up empty. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Thanks for all the input. It's Xpanders. Here's a website I found on them. http://www.parrygamepreserve.com/index.php?a=xp Thanks again.
I take it that it isn't the computer warrior figures.. Also when ever you read the title do you get an image of T-1000 asking "Have you seen this boy?"
That's the toys I was trying to remember. I had the transforming Pepsi can. First time I saw the toon, I loved it. Though I only got to see one episode of it. Stupid local channel cut off the network feed to show local wrestling every saturday morning after that.
