I'm planning on doing a Classics version of movie Barracade but I can't think what head to use. I want it to fit in with my classics but still be recognisable as Barracade.

Must be deluxe size.

Any ideas?

 

I think you could easily use the head that comes with the original classics figure.

It will need some modification to the "horns" and face, but I think it would work just fine.

 

Agreed, the original head isn't too far off from what I could imagine a classics-styled Barricade would look like.

 

It would be cool to see classics versions of movie figures. What about using Armada or Energon Mirage. I can't remember which one but he has kind of a sharp looking face. Would that fit?

 

Thats the kind of head i was thinking of but its way to big for the Prowl mold. Action masters Banzaitrons head would look good too, but I have no idea on the size.

Would Energon Mirage/Dreadwing's head be too big? If not, I think that could be spot-on. Maybe the crest could be shaved down a bit?

Staying on the Energon idea, what about Insecticon? He is more animalistic, and has a big head crest. Or Divebomb, perhaps?

Maybe RiD Prowl? He's sort of movie style already. Or maybe a Beast Machines figure, like Jetstorm?

Not sure if I like Octanes head, he looks like he's been punched in the face.

I am diggiing the RID Prowl idea though, I'll check it for size when I get home.

 

Someone else did this a while ago. Used TM II Dinobot's head.

 

It's creepy how so many of us immediately thought of Mirage/Dreadwing, and yet I recall no mention of the similarity when pics of Barry started surfacing before TF07. I nearly typed it myself before even reading the rest of the thread.
