This is a random, random question, but I'm finally reading Hearts of Steel and wondered if anybody knew if Jacob Lee Bonaventure was named after Hollywood producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura? Bonaventura produced both TF movies, and the first one would have been in production when issue 3 of HOS came out in August 2006... I can't think of a connection, but the names just seem too close to be coincidence. Maybe not. Very possible. "Hearts of Steel" was intended to be the first in the Evolutions subline of comics but it was never continued as IDW (and I think Hasbro, too) deemed it too confusing to have another, alternate timeline running parallell to the movieverse. So the movies were definitely being consider at the time of writing. This, of course, sidesteps the issure of IDW's ongoing TF comic series which has nothing to do with the movies... It's a shame really. I enjoyed HoS and would have been interested in what else Evolutions came up with.
