Crap, found out about this today. Now before you guys start thinking "These Dreams" Heart, listen to the album. This shit screams "Barracuda", "Back to Avalon" Heart. The song Wheels in particulars kicks ass Amazon.com: Red Velvet Car: Heart: Music
Heart? Till now, I always got by on my own. I never really cared until I met you. And now it chills me to the bone.
Ok, do want \m/ I had an fb post lamenting that we miss chick rockers like stevie nicks, lita ford, et al. These gals were the queens of the rock, there is none higher, uh huh huh huh.
Yeah, I actually like the crappy pop Heart music too, but in a different way. Purely nostalgic. I'm glad they are still making music under the name Heart, instead of going by a different band name.
*checks calendar* It's not 1982! Seriously though, it's cool they're still going. I also saw Ratt released a new album a few months back.
Fantastic. I've always consider Ann Wilson to be one of rock's finest female vocalists. Anything we want, they can make it happen. They're standing up, turning around, never letting anything shoot 'em down.
Thought the same thing... depending on how well their voices are hanging in there.. should be pretty good..I'll give it a 85..gotta be able to dance to it
That's what I'm tryin' to say, fellas. This isn't "These Dreams" or "Alone" Heart. This is Barracuda Heart. It's Rock. Heart wasn't Pop until the 80's... And even then it was soft rock. Barracuda and Magic Man is classic Rock.
Heart was cool, that voice is all motherly and stuff. Joan Jett was the shit though. When she squatted, a motorcycle appeared beneath her.
Hahaha, I ain't dissing it, King. I own that album. But for those who preferred that classic rock sound, this one goes back to that sound. Wheels is a flippin' awesome song.
I remember their song "Barracuda" when I was a kid. I don't know if the song was about the fish or the Plymouth.
