Love the look of Gyro, had to buy the set just for this upgrade. Also really looking forward to Hothead, but Blood... Meh, it should have been for the voyager.

 

Unfortunately the Lego hands on Hothead ruin it for me. If there were switchable arms I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. Oh well, have to see what Venkstra's Duros winds up looking like.

 

Venk's not doing it now because of this one.

 

Like Thundershot said, Venksta will not be doing anything for Hardhead.

As for the lego hands, what would you prefer? We are talking about VERY small hands here. I actually think the lego idea is a brilliant one.

 

I picked up some of those fanmade Lego weapons just for this guy. Didn't know they existed before, but they're pretty nifty

 

Exactly. The weapon possibilities for Hothead are endless.

 

I'm so tempted to get the Blood kit for Wreckage, then he and Voyager Bludgeon will be unstoppable   I really, really wish I could get hold of a Hardhead for that kit, damn exclusives, and I ignored Onslaught so many times as well  

 

I almost bought Whirl/Bludgeon at TRU today. Almost. Why didn't I? They were still $24.99, and tru.com has them for $14.99. They wouldn't give me the online price in the store... I'll just wait, I guess...

 

With the new gun and the wrist mounted gun it looks like Hardhead is wielding the "shocker".

 

I don't want any weapons for Duros. I figured he'd have little fists like Nightstick

 

Why wouldn't you want weapons? I think that's kind of a nice option. Until now, our HM, TM or PM figures have been unable to hold weapons. I'm actually quite thrilled that Hothead/Duros will be able to wield something.

 

Because Duros will probably spend his life in head mode atop Hardhead on my Classiverse shelf. I don't display Nightstick as a robot either.

 

No need for a pretender head/accesories for Bludgeon.
Why make the Deluxe look like the Pretender shell when we already have a great Voyager figure that looks like it? I think its better to make the Deluxe look more like the robot.
I consider this mold to be his inner robot and consider the Voyager figure to be his pretender shell. Why not give him a head that looks more like his robot head?

I do really like the idea of giving Blugdeon a big gun in vehicle mode. This turns him into a tank destroyer. It won't be a tank unless the upgrade gives him tracks too and the turret can rotate 360. The gun looks a bit oversized on this image.
I might consider getting this set but only for the gun upgrade.

Why not give Hardhead an upgrade with a big turret gun too? Like Bludgeon he used to be a tank but now (like Deluxe Bludgeon) has been downgraded to an armored car. And while at it, give him tracks as well (if possible).
I think this will fit Hardhead very well and combinded with the headmaster will make him diffirent enough from Onslaught.

I don't have Hardhead because I think the Onslaught mold doesn't fit him. However if there would be an upgrade that would turn him into a tank-like vehicle (for instance a tank or tank destroyer) similar to the Bludgeon upgrade then I will probably buy a Hardhead and the upgrades (including the head).

I have Whirl but only because he came in the set with Deluxe Bludgeon. The upgrade is nice but I am not sure if I would get it as I am not much a fan of this character.

 

Are we still getting this?

 

According to Robot Kingdom, Hot Head has been delayed to September.

Really looking forward to Hothead. Any real update on when this is supposed to be released? Diggin the Blood upgrade too. May end up snaggin that set at TRU...
