was trying to go into vehicle mode and his head came off....it looks like it can't simply be snapped back in or re attached...so tough luck on my part
anyone else have this happen?

 

It's on a balljoint so it should just pop back on

it goes under the where inthe plane mode's engine is, look there

 

Get something like a toothpick or a hair pin and see if you can pry it out. It might also be easier to get at if you fold down the nose of the plane.
If you can get it out, the ball tip of the neck should be able to just pop back into the back of the head.

I bought my Ransack the other day with his head actually off the ball joint still in the packet. I got him because he was the only one there (and the only one I've seen where I live), thinking his head would be easy to pop back on to his neck. Turns out it wasn't. I put some of my girlfriend's nail polish on the ball and it's not as prone to coming off now.

Still annoying, but most of his parts pop off anyway
