I tried posting this in the "how to"s but it wouldn't let me. Not sure if this will help anyone but it worked perfect for me. This fixed my rotating neck problem (or lack there of) and made it infinitely more solid. Not sure if anyone has posted anything similar and this is probably old news, but I'll post this anyway for those who are interested or have just gotten the DOTM Ldr Ironhide :)

See image below :)  Hope this helps!

*edit* After being brought to my attention (Thank you UltraMagnus2008! :)  ) What this plate does is, after modding the neck to turn on the Ldr IH, it retains the head in place so it doesn't fall out while moving or posing it. It also fills the gaping hole in front of the head :)

So it stops his head from falling out of place, after you've done the mod to allow the head to turn?

That would be it Ultra, on mine there is zero play other than the head rotating left and right

I removed the faceplate and did the "Magnet" Mod so the faceplate is removable at will.
As far as the neck plate, I did some reading in the forums about it before i got mine and quite a few people were saying after they loosened the head up it kept falling out when adjusting or posing. I made this plate for mine and wanted to share it in case anyone wanted to do the same.

A couple things on posting Tutorials. Tutorials is a moderated-only forum, so a thread has to be posted either here, Fan Art, or Creative GD first. There are many reasons for this, but just know that's the process.

Also, when making a tutorial (much like you noted when you've backtracked), be as descriptive as possible, both in your write-ups and your photos. Vivid, step-by-step instructions and clear, sharp photos will help alleviate any confusion by someone reading.

As for this one, keep posting your thoughts about this one guys! I'll mark it for submission. Thanks for the submissions, gang :thumb

Thank you for the info and heads up Superquad7 :)  I'll remember that in future posts. this is my first posting of an actual "mod" per say of this type, so I thought first and typed later lol. In future Mod posts I'll be allot more descriptive of the process and procedure :)

Thanks to all who posted in this thread :)
