I was out today at Brent Cross mall picking up gifts for the family and soon-to-be extended family after my sister's wedding this Christmas. That's a lot of cash to splash, but I'll work on commissions to offset the cost. There's still more to get, but I'll finish before I travel next week. Have you finished your shopping this Christmas?
My family is impossible to shop for. I've been racking my brain for weeks now and can't think of anything to buy. My Sister and Mom live in Texas, so I don't even see them often, which might give me a clue what to buy....and my Dad has everything, and owns every tool known to man!
Cosmetics and jewellery are typical gifts for the ladies. Last year I got my sister a locket with a picture of her and her fiancé inside. I'm buying House season 8 for my Dad this year.
I really shy away from buying jewelry, cosmetics, and clothes for women....unless it's REALLY nice jewelry, that is. Diamonds are always appreciated!
Well this, but considering I have nearly nobody to buy for this year, its not a big deal. I'll definitely need to come up with something for this one friend of mine, and its gotta be done quick because with the way Canadian mail works, she'd be lucky to get it by January if I sent it tomorrow. ... fuck
it would appear i'm almost done with my shopping already. i may just get my bro a stool for when he goes to the range cause he's too tall to stand and too short to sit . and i forgot i'm getting my mom this really expensive bath robe, and my dad another power tool. now if only i had enough money to get my cousin a Wolverine bust from BBTS and knew what to get everyone else in my family
The only people I buy gifts for are my parents and, since I need to ship everything to them in Canada, I finished Christmas shopping back around the end of October to make sure I was done in time. I have some Christmas money to spend on gifts for myself, but there's no rush on that right now.
yep just gave my fiancee and his parents their gifts today and they loved them and i love my gifts that they gave me.
I've bought some inexpensive stuff recently, but it's a start. I'll be spending the big bucks on Wednesday or Thursday.
