Lucky! They just offered a refund for my QC issues if I return Victory Saber   .... I've escalate the issues with them.

 

No major problems whatsoever on mine.

edit: I finally saw one scratch on the faceplate but it must just be under certain light since I didn’t see it when I first opened things up. Still not terribly bothersome.

 

Same thing happened to me, called Hasbro customer service and they said the 3rd one shipped in its own box and they couldn’t update the site to reflect that. They gave me the tracking # over the phone. Call them if you need to know when it’s coming since you have to sign for it. Good luck.

Did they ship your replacement via Fedex or USPS?

 

For me it was the nosecone issue with excess plastic. Customer service was friendly and asked for pictures then asked for my address. Will see what happens

 

I got my vs from FedEx. But replacement part came from Canada Post. Just went to post office and grabbed it

 

Called customer service this morning. Gonna get an email with more details to provide. I’m curious if they’d ship a new brainmaster or a 2nd saber. Kinda like the victory Leo thing. Could’ve just provided the one gun or piece, but they gave a whole new figure. We will see what happens

Issues only if I wanna be picky.

Some inconsistent tolerances (but everything is still stable and perfectly functional)

Some extra paint splashes (which aren't even an issue cause you cant see them without a microscope like, I'm not sure I understand those who think it's awful but anyways)

Again this is if I wanna be extremely picky. He's such a lovely and amazing toy

I went into this knowing there would be issues because HasLab is just a name. It's manufactured the same way as anything else so it was always unrealistic to expect perfection.

So yes, I bought this knowing there could be issues. And knowing Hasbro has replacement parts just like unicron (which they're still giving out by the way)

 

Second copy seems mostly good

Noticed two issues.
Saber's left arm keeps popping off. This happened on my first copy, so it might be common. No problem on right arm. Probably just live with it.

On Star Saber's right foot, something is off. When folding in the red part of the foot, the gray part of the foot is too long. It makes it very difficult to transform that part. So much so that the pressure needed for clearance might eventually cause it to break. No issue on left foot.

 

The foot flap was on mine too, same side. There was a bit of extra plastic where it looks like a sprue was cut and it’s just large enough to hinder the folding. Very carefully clip it with some nail clippers or other hobby tool or sand it depending on how offensive it is. Worked perfectly for me

 

Slight stress mark on mine when trying to attach the blade perpendicular to the hilt. Red part of the right foot on Star Saber is harder to unfold for transformation, likely due to bare minimal clearance with the central gray part of the foot.

 

Got mine today and have not noticed any QC issues at all. Mine was shipped from California via FedEx Smart Post and I backed close to the deadline. Not sure if that has any bearing on it or not.

 

Anybody know where the hell those numbers are that Customer Service is asking about?

 

SO glad I bought two copies so I could at least Frankenstein a single acceptable set together before reaching out to support. In total I encountered:

-Pin and accesory-holding "ring" missing from a hand
-Same inner leg panel instead of mirrored as it should be
-Missing the ENTIRE Star Saber head
-Excess plastic within the thigh preventing it from straightening and the screw holding it together stripped to hell so I can't disassemble it to fix.
-Numerous paint issues ranging from easily fixable to pretty severe chunks scratched off or missing.

Spending the first hour of receiving a Haslab on repairs and reassemblies had me in a very bad mood, but I actually got to enjoy the good set I assembled the next day. Reached out to support for all the issues as I'd like to still have two intact sets, but at this point I don't even care if they offer me a refund for the second one. I really hope Deathsaurus is executed better and tbh I feel kind of dumb for supporting it given the experience I had with this, but FOMO is a mfer, lol.

 

Yes it can, but they wouldn't send just that panel. I also looked to see if I could just flip it but that wasn't a possibility.

Don’t normally get to upset bout these issues but still pissed about my Melted Amazon Exclusive Dirge Wing…Anyways, I got 2 facemask scratches and Leo chrome issues that bother me the most. One obvious blue paint splash on the shield and not sure WTF happened near Sabers neck…Haven’t transformed to see if there’s any other QC issues. Paid $315 for mine cuz I didn’t back originally. First Haslab experience and not impressed. His prices on eBay dropped significantly so can’t even get my money back At this point. Beautiful packaging though. However, I would rather get a damn near flawless figure in a unmarked shoebox than one riddled with QC issues in a fancy package…Sorry for the rant…Dammit anyways…..
