We could still get the poster even if it's not funded, I don't think it costs too much to reprint a poster...

 

i don't give a rip about anything scaling with unicron besides primus, but everytime i see that galvatron i just remember how tfwiki points out galvatron is about the size of rhode island in that scene assuming a consistent sizing of unicron (and galvatron). it honestly makes me want unicron purely because nothing more than that little fact kind of instills the fear that i expect from a planet-sized transformer that the animated movie kind of failed to catch. armada did good, but i digress lol

 

Should the Unicron crowdfund go south, I think the backup plan is to crowdfund the poster for $569.99 each. Some debates will erupt over whether a Third Party could have done a better poster and how the Haslab poster has too much kibble, but we'll handle things as we've always handled things on TFW2005, with calmness and patience.

 

Hey, we complained and it seems like Hasbro is listening. We wanted more marketing and looks like we got it.

Extras would be nice but all I want now is for the next few weeks to go by faster and backer count to get to 7000 before the final week.

Since Hasbro is listening, my last selfish request is to add third party retailers now vs later. Let’s see what we are looking at.

By any chance do you have a suit? I own two and have several in commission. This has been spread out over a period of time and thanks to some very nice bonuses. Averaged ($1-2k) plantigrade but the digitigrade I am waiting for is in that 2-3k range.

 

They just can’t do that. The third parties would have to place those orders. And if people back out they’d have to cancel on their behalf. The whole thing is so fluid it would be a logistical nightmare even for the bigger retailers with more than 1 or 2 employees.

 

I will echo what others have said: it is BIZARRE that they posted this video without announcing that a print of the poster will be included for backers. Seems almost intentionally tone deaf.

 

The blatant disregard of the man's skill at making art is grinding my gears. Its a video showing how he made it and all these asshats can say is "uugh, Hasbro's out of ideas". Get out of here with your edgy teen attitude!

 

Hasbro, I love ya, but a poster is not enough to salvage this.

 

You guys don't understand. The video obviously means that Marcelo is going to personally visit each backer and draw them a copy of the poster.

 

The poster is appreciated, and I'll enjoy it, but it wasn't necessary. I just want Unicron.

 

Gotta admit it's been a while since I've seen someone draw something amazing like that. I like the little concepts at the beginning.
