He was supposed to have a scene, according to the deleted screenplay.. but that is a story for another day, and you notice his figure hasn't been reissued, repackaged, and resold as part of a bigger box set had they kept the scene he was in... Even so, a stockpile of $15 to $20 figures nobody bought is a lot different from a $575 figure that doesn't exist unless enough people pay it forward.

 

If for whatever reason UNICRON doesn't make it, I vote we change his name to Haslab UNICORN. Because he will be mythical and legendary! Lol

Do you really think being hopeful and optimistic, not to mention a lot of the assertions that it would get backed were based on some level of pragmatic reasoning using the Barge as a benchmark, is the same as negative and pessimistic and therefore if he doesn’t there is somehow hypocrisy on his part for not behaving identically for both?

You know what I'd like to see them do with the figure? Make partsforming an option so that you can remove the planetary shell (or leave it on if you want him as-is/shellformer, if you choose) and make the shells become part of the stand so he has a diorama to stand upon and his robot mode would be stupidly film-accurate better than any figure before it.

Too much money in too little time. They need to extend the deadline to at LEAST 09/05/2019.

 

If the date were extended to about two weeks later I could’ve been able to swing it, but I’ve been so swamped in bills lately that I don’t have the money to dump on this guy. As a guy who’s first introduction was Energon (bad start, I know), Unicron would’ve been the ultimate grail- and $800 CAD, while expensive, would’ve been totally worth it for that purpose. I hope 3P retailers wind up placing orders for extra in the event that this gets made cause I really don’t want to miss out on it.
