If these are the only ‘extras’ I’m going to be slightly pissed.

    Ebay:
Tough to say on re-sale. This is world wide release and some US sellers, for whatever reason, have it up for pre-order. I think if you unload it when you actually get it in your hands, you'll be safe. After that, its a gamble.

Depends but in my experience, KO's have ruined a lot of the officials prices, not 3P. To be fair, 3P has avoided crossing the official guys but right now, I'm very curious to see how OP 4.0 does with the two 3P versions already out and selling well. Unicron would've been the first time a 3P tried to directly compete and would've gave us an idea who truly is the giant when it comes to who the collectors flock to first.

There is an opportunity to re-sell it but it isn't going to be $1K or some crazy amount. He may just break even in the end. Until we know if Zeta is for real with theirs or if any other 3P company jumps in, speaking for myself, would be hard to put a value on this, outside of what US retailers have it up for pre-order at $775.

Lol if the sphere was 30" diameter he'd be able to stand up inside his shell! I shudder to think what the shell kibble stacks would look like if that were the case!!  :)

If they really (REALLY) wanted to please literally everyone and include an entire demographic of collectors they’d swappable matte gray pieces for the silver pieces. I personally would give an extra $100 just to have the perfect Unicron in my opinion for my collection.

I wouldn’t be willing to ruin my toy by painting it, but I’m not opposed to buying custom made swappable parts from the likes of Dr. Wu.

Well no, of course not! That's why you get two! One to have as a floating head playset for micromasters!

You need to find a way for the ears to pivot upward as if perking.

Can see why they didn't make it grey. Anytime Hasbro does grey/white instead of silver they are called cheap, but when its MP figures, they get praise. swappable parts would be interesting though.

That is definitely a cool extra. Not only that the faceplate is detachable, but that there's also a damaged version (with two shattered eye lenses) for the full orbital-head look. Wonder what it would look like perched on Fort Max...

Fucking Hasbro HasLab asked for only 5000 from Star Wars fans which are way more plenty and all they got was 8000. So what Hasbro saw that number & said well we got it last time so well get it this time too? If they asked for 5000 this would get made. And it still could it just doesn't look good for it.

And if they said something like well change the chin for the fans i bet that alone would get more buyers..i know thats the only part i dont like. Just cut the chin into a beard thats what he had.

*edit* the Faceplate is cool but he needs to have a beard still. I like the moveable eyes :)
