Yeah, I was gone playing Army at the time(s) those could've been picked up cheap, but I still remember seeing all the Star Wars stuff for pennies on the dollar back in the late 80s, so I know the kinds of crazy deals I missed out on.
I’m not sure what you’re talking about, but if some “third party” IP theft company undermines this campaign, I hope they get prosecuted to oblivion.
Hot takes ladies and gentlemen! Zeta a third party company that focuses on combiners and has teased a Unicron but there has been a controversy about its high being possibly only 18cm and them supposed to reveal it this month with nothing so far Read this thread for the TL;DR: Zeta Toys Unicron ZV-02 Core Star Short version: Great image by @BB03
Somehow, I'm not even surprised. Not the first time 3P has fumbled up a unicron project, G.O.D (Gangs of Devil) Unicron went into developmental limbo and was never heard from again.
I have no idea what this is supposed to mean. All I know about “third parties” is that they’ve completely ruined eBay.
I got a G1Jetfire at clearance price too way way back...was watching it week after week before finally pulling the trigger to buy it...I don't remember the name of the store but a Target is now in its place...
Haslab only tracks US orders in real-time. Assuming that the target is global, we will only know of the true value in the final week, when Asia vendors end the pre-ordering phase and submit their purchase orders to Hasbro. My reseller still insist that the target is NA only and not global, we will have to see. Did my part and made a reservation, and if the campaign falls thru, I will get my deposit back.
had to look up this Barge thing that everyone keeps talking about, and found out that thing's gonna be over 4 feet long (49.35")!! Unicron is supposed to be a whole freakin' planet, but it's only gonna be 30" in diameter (that's only 60% the length of the Barge) and yet costs 15% more - what a total ripoff!!! Hasbro needs to make Unicron BIGGER... /s (<= sorta, I actually wouldn't mind if it WERE bigger - especially for that insane price...)
Unless it says 5000 on the site, I wouldn't put too much weight on "possible orders." Also, orders placed on HasbroPulse automatically ups the number. There isn't any "hold" by Hasbro as far as anyone knows. It seems counter-productive not to show the actual total, if this is indeed the case. You would want to show how far along the backing is.
I can't help but wonder what site is hendrijr's friend working on. To account for nearly 20% of the global sales at $200 markup? Asia vendors are offering Unicron at the same price as HasbroPulse, so why go thru a vendor charging significant markup?
As far as anyone knows, all orders have to go through HasbroPulse. Which means the number shown on the site is the true number of orders. Can anyone confirm otherwise?
Asian vendors has been taking orders since the middle of the week, and they are going thru Hasbro Asia. Hasbro - Transformers Generations WFC: Siege - Unicron ($100 Deposit Required) Robo Robo You are being redirected... Prices are in SGD, convert to USD and it's on par with hasbropulse prices.
1-past tense for the barge as it happened 2- the barge doesn't need to transform into something else, this adds a lot to the production cost .
That's simply the current number of orders placed directly through the website at any given time. All the other sites taking preorders, from how I understand it, will submit/place their orders with Hasbro Pulse at the end of the campaign. Which in turn will make their orders reflect on the backer counter.
FWIW, this is Hasbro China's TMall page for the Unicron preorder. It says, "全球支持者达到8000名后,宇宙大帝将由此诞生。" Google translate: "After the global supporters reached 8,000, the cosmic emperor will be born." Only 201 paid orders now. They, Haslab and TakaraTomy will cooperate to count towards worldwide pre-order total:
Man, I’m gonna watch TF:TM with this guy square in front of me...may not be able to see much of the TV, but it will be a thing of beauty all the same.
