im here to complain about the yellow color.. its not the right color. i have fomo of getting a yellow belly $600 unicron then the animation version comes out

 

I'm talking flat pieces of plastic. About as thrilling as folding laundry.

 

FOMO is nothing - FOBT is what you should really be worried about.

 

If I kept speculating there would be a better version of everything I buy, I would never have any TF’s.... or any devices for that matter....

 

I haven't watched the video, but this one of the weirdest photosets I've ever seen. Some guy looking like Mads Mikkelsen by way of Tommy Wiseau showing off a toy and carefully handling it like it's a newly discovered antique from Ancient Greece and all in black white to boot. I think someone put something in my juice.

Hope it comes with an alternate goatee face. Also wish the areas painted silver were more of a whitish grey to match what the animation and masterpiece faces have.

 

Everything is great.The transformation is not worth the money.

 

This thing is massive. I'm already eyeing furniture that needs to go so we have space to transform and display him.

 

Looks incredible. Transformation seems challenging and intuitive. This is truly a labor of love and it shows

 

If UNICRON came in pieces and it stored in a kick ass case like the one used in the video, I'd Die HaPPY. I really would.

 

That dude in the tuxedo looks like to me what would @Vangelus will look like in 20 years. But man, that transformation is going to be "fun" for reviewers.

 

Seeing how it was stored in there, I'm now convinced this thing will ship in planet mode, in a perfect cubed box

Unicron looks like the real deal, and smells like the real deal.
But doesn't ACT like the real deal.

I have a TON of 3p transformers, and I support those that are legit worth the money...
But this guy doesn't seem like its worth all that they are asking for it.
'Specially more than 300 bucks worth...

This thing realistically isnt worth more than that in plastic; no matter the parts count, paint, and engineering.
It just isn't.

I think by default - that is to say without training - we're prone to these irrational emotions that convince us of things that we otherwise would not conclude. We're full of such weaknesses.

It's only all the same if your purpose is to remove the distinctions by generalizing. It's not even a simple scale of how many steps the transformation is, as you can have complex transformations that turn inside-out because most of one mode isn't utilized in the other mode (the newest MP OP seems like a good example.)
I can understand if you don't personally care about whether something shellforms. Everyone has different things they care about.

The hands DO come out of the forearms. I mean technically the forearms move and the hands remain stationary, but it does allow you to recreate that scene, which is why that movie scene was included in the video.

Well, this is where we go back to the point about how the 1st price you're given is the anchor that sets the standard for any other price, making $300 seem reasonable for a Titan class figure with a planet shell that he pops out of like a Kinder egg. though I guess we have 2,000 people proving that more people will put their money where their mouth is VS the 18% of ~200 people who voted in another thread's poll saying they flat out can't afford it.

uh..... Those arms are visible in planet mode, not at all under the planet shell. Also hands do pop out, they even played the scene from the movie during it...
