but i do think that it's cool that you picked up a proto uni. hopefully you had a coupon or something.

I think I might give this guy a transform over the weekend.

sweet and enjoy the adventure. this bot was pretty fun to transform for me. the hardest part was that i was super careful and worried the first time i did it. but after i got done. i realized that it was literally nothing to alt this bad boy.

 

Yeah, weekend is over and I didn’t have an open-ended day to ensure I could enjoy a leisurely transform and get it done.

I’ve changed him to robot mode once, and kept him like that for a long while. Then transformed him back to planet mode, which he’s been in for a long while. Time to appreciate once again that great robot mode that I know is hidden in there.
At least his head is already off, and it’s easier to unfold him then to fold him up.

Same here. Although he DOES stay in each mode quite a while. He's been like this since I got Galactus. I used to transform him a lot more in the first months of having him. But that's typically how it goes.

 

Well, two weeks ago I said I was going to transform Uni back ...and I finally did!

Always impresses me each time I see the other mode again! I’ll impress myself again in a few months with planet mode.

 

On my Unicron, where you put the rings/wings into his shoulders and rotate them — that rotation on mine is EXTREMELY tight. Does anyone else’s have this issue?

 

Have him displayed in arcade room. Every time someone is over they always comment on Unicron

Most likely, people will continue to seek out either or both, new titan silver/brown wadded foil Unicron or not.

 

Precisely. Plus, for people like myself who will never get a legit G1-accurate version (and is what we'd like), Haslab is as good as we'll see.

The RotB may or may not look epic, but it'll always be RotB Unicron, not TFTM Unicron.

Not a chance. It wouldn’t fly at retail prices. It would have to be massively scaled down and simplified. Probably closer to the old armada one than haslab

 

best case scenario it's a Titan SS release.
