I like seeing polite, friendly, helpful recommendations, and best wishes like yours. Always good too see.

Speaking of the Armada Unicron variants, they definitely look pretty cool, especially the later ones with the retooled head to look more G1 Movie accurate (as much as the base mold can).

At some point I’ll definitely track down one of the variants. They’re fun to transform and easier to mess with.

congrats! That’s awesome dude. You’ll definitely enjoy Unicron! In the end you got the last laugh. When you get it you should give your thoughts on it, what you think of the transformation /shelf presence. And hopefully you know most users on here are pretty cool/kind, wouldn’t let anyone being snarky get to you :)

I’ve started using Trunkkey’s 3D printed maw piece in addition to the toyhax stickers. I think the stickers are probably all I needed, but the printed piece does a good job of filling in the outer cracks. I think the only knock I have on it is that the maw can no longer fully open, but It’s close enough. Stickers on top, with the Trunkkey piece added at the bottom.

Yeah, I think the reason is clear from your pictures... the crack that the 3d print fills in is there for the teeth to fall back into to open fully. You either have a gap and fully retractable teeth, or not. You can't have both, it seems.

Personally, the print is great for me.

Reminds me, though, I need to get my toyhax on!

Yeah, I was one of the people who didn’t mind the blue maw. But then I put on the Stickers and love the depth that it adds. The silver inner teeth were a must. I ended up not adding the ones with the cybertronian symbols though

What is the going rate in the aftermarket for Haslab Unicron?

Completed listings on eBay seem to be across a wide range.

They seem to range from gouge ($1,600) to gore ($3,000). Of course, if you have nothing better to do with your money, you can opt for the “Scalped, skinned, and left for dead” price tier ($20,000) It doesn’t get you anything physical that the other two tiers don’t, but it will give you one of two emotional experiences: 1) Satisfaction of helping the seller financially or 2) Proceed on your way to oblivion.

On the plus side, shipping for that last option is only $100! That’s practically free!

Thank you! I’m usually way more “miss” than “hit”, but even a blind duck can land in a pond occasionally.

You're 2 for 2 now. You’ve peaked for Sunday. I dare say not to go for 3 and ruin the streak now! Ha

I should probably add a post of Unicron in this thread now, to stay on track. I’m trying to create my own flame effects (beginner here) and I haven’t finished painting these ones, but once I do I’m gonna keep trying to make some that ACTUALLY look good/like flames. Still I was happy for my first time doing a project like this. Was definitely fun using a Hot Glue gun to make stuff

Looks better than anything I’ve ever done with a hot glue gun! I’ve not yet ventured into mod territory but I admire you folks who do. This site is a hotbed of creativity and it never ceases to impress me. Share more pics when you finish!

I apologize to all but I am looking for the adapter that allows me to use the studio cell wings kits with Hassan Unicron. I just went thru 100 or so pages, and didn’t see how everyone is doing this. I see photos in the customs thread, but no info on how to print or purchase. Could one of you more internet savvy guys please point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance! I appreciate it.
