Is that sarcasm or are you stating that as fact?

It's just a byproduct of the artwork being wrapped around a corner onto more than one face.

hey guys...i just thought i would post a little bit of info here. inspect your bots thoroughly and if you have an issue reach out

haslab still has a very deep supply of parts and accessories if needed and the process is lightening fast.

i kind of had a minor issue with one of my uni heads. i made the call and 3 days later i have a brand new head...lol

so if anyone here is on the fence or worried about after sales support dont be. they are going to do whatever they can to make it right.

If anyone is still interested in my tale of woe, after selling my Unicron figure on eBay for a very minimal profit (I just wasn't interested in the figure by the time it arrived) as a Mint in Sealed box item, the buyer opened and found that Hasbro had screwed up and put two right parts on the leg instead of a right and left. After much back and forth, I ended up having to do a partial refund. Hasbro wasn't remotely interested in any customer support because we aren't in the US, I even found a fellow collector on the boards here who had the opposite issue and was keen to arrange a swap, but the buyer wasn't interested.

My advice to others is don't sell through eBay. The fee's are outrageous, the protection is heavily skewed to the buyer and the seller risks major financial loss, and even the presence of an explicit disclaimer in the listing that no support was offered and that I wasn't responsible for a flaw in a sealed item, meant nothing to eBay. It was made clear to me that If I didn't come to an agreement with the buyer, eBay would refund them the entire amount and wouldn't even make any efforts to require them to return the item. I ran the very real risk of the buyer getting the money back from me and keeping Unicron. Shipping was hugely expensive for an item this size and return shipping would have put me further out of pocket and I still would have had to try and sell the figure again later.
In the end, after all the eBay fees and the partial refund, I basically broke even on the transaction, so am no better off than if I had skipped the whole deal. Could have been worse I suppose, at least I didn't lose any money.

I shouldn't have been surprised I guess. I mean they do call him the Chaos Bringer!!

Wish my experience was even remotely like that. HasLab flat out said that because I got the figure through a local retailer (an authorised Hasbro Distributor, sold as part of the Crowd-Fund) they are under no obligation to offer any support, and I should talk to the retailer about a full refund. No replacement parts or fixes were available. I even reached out to the local arm of Hasbro and was completely ignored.
Glad folks in America are able to receive support from HasLab but I doubt anyone outside of that region will get much love, even though the figure never would have reached its target without the international contingent.

Habsro Pulse certainly won't be getting any more support from me and it's further soured me on any official products from Hasbro or their Japanese partner Takara, who if anything offer even less support to customers. Customer Support, in this day and age, is a huge thing and falling back on the old "Not my region, not my problem" excuse is pretty feeble in the modern connected world.
It's a sad state of affairs when I can quickly and easily get replacement parts from a questionably legal, tiny, all-but nameless operation, somewhere in China, who barely speak English, but a multinational conglomerate like Hasbro won't even give me the time of day.

Not that I'm bitter or anything LOL:lolol

I saw your post earlier and it does seem like a pretty bad situation for you. I guess at least you broke even, so I suppose it could have been worse. Just out of curiosity, had you opened the figure and found the issue before you put it up for sale, would you have considered that to be better than what eventually happened? Or would you be even more pissed at Hasbro since it doesn't appear that they would help you with the defect?

The problem is that it is such a large figure and massive shell former that you would have to transform it and then transform it back to even make certain everything was correct.
