Having to lug it around in box, 33 lbs sounds pretty accurate.

 

Does anyone here like own a scale though? I can weigh mine, but it won't be here until Tuesday

 

Yea I got a postage scale. I'm gonna weigh him tonight.

And the packaging to see how much each weigh.

EDIT: Just noticed the instructions have him listed as 16 pounds. No mention if the stand is included in that.

I thought my work would be done getting him out of the box. man I was wrong. Took me 3 hours to get him all set up, albeit while I was "working."

A couple things.

You're gonna get used to manipulating his panels fast right out of the box. You have to crack open his shells on the top and bottom to properly assemble his planet mode.

The instructions suck for how to put him on the stand. You have to open up the bottom shells. Collapse the doors on the bottom and fold them in to put it on the stand. Don't try to pull the long panel out. I highly recommend this video to show how to put him on the stand so you don't break him.

After getting him on the stand you have to crack open the top shells to fold out the horns and the equator spikes. Popping the panels back in is not a lot of fun.

Assembling the rings wasn't too bad. There shouldn't be any resistance getting the prongs in the North and South poles. The real connections that hold the ring on is on the sides.

Only have one issue with mine. The lack of pages 13-20 in the instructions... Apparently they did not staple everything together...

I wouldn't sweat it. As long as the figure isn't missing pieces. You are probably better off watching a video review and following along for the transformation.

You could probably get Hasbro to send you a new instruction booklet I would figure. Just so it would be complete.

 

There is no weather here. Light drizzle, but I did just hear on the news that the south is experiencing strong winds and tornadoes.

 

I didn't use the book. It seemed to just make things weird.
