Eeeesh..... Fortunately for you, metallic silver is a very easy match. You shouldn't even need "real" paint, just a metallic marker that you can get at most art stores.

I'm on the same boat in Canada with zero word and I'm good bro. My time will come.

 

I'd say less QC and more just the physics. There's just a lot of weight on this guy that needs supported while posing. He definitely doesn't need the stand but he can only stand freely on one foot about as long as you or I can without collapsing. He's just going to put a lot of pressure on those ankle joints over time. So I think it will just be a good idea for people to keep him on the stand if they're not actively messing with him and are just displaying him.

Also the maw doesn't bother me in person at all. All orange would have been better, but the blue doesn't look bad. In fact none of the color choices really bother me (maybe the teeth, but it's not that big of a deal). Not that he's perfect. My biggest complaint is actually he lacks complete full motion for his thumbs and he can't really space out his fingers. Makes it really hard to recreate some rather natural hand gestures I feel articulated hands should be able to do. I also don't like how limited his shoulder range is, but for the most part that's not really a big issue.

It's basically a 84" x 48" x 24" shelving unit from Menards that I'm going to gussy up. I'll post photos when my Unicron arrives.
