Does anyone have a quick link showing how to properly get the stand on the planet out of the box? How to release what panels to clear it open enough? Instruction fail, the unboxings I watched just drop it on except the one above says 'mess with the bottom and make it like this' but that is not really making me comfortable and there isn't much detail..

 

There are two movable parts down there, the silver rectangular section and a blue square section... if you play/open the panels in that general area you can fold them both in... the stand basically just slides in and almost didn’t seem like it grabbed anything, but it does...

the very last page with instructions on it has some pictures of it open in that area

 

Thank you! That's partly what I get for not reading through the whole book before getting started. I can see it laid out, but I cannot tell where the points of release are for the side shell panels initially.

Edit - got it.. kinda scary   Who doesn't provide instructions for that >.<

 

yeah it is a bit tricky figuring out the instructions but both pieces do fold inside the sphere and you do have to flex the long tab a bit to fold around the obstacle of the shell...it isn't a natural move and seems wrong at first but it does work

So I've had a tracking number since the 8th. I logged in to FedEx today and now it is gone. It has been pending all this time, now it's gone.

 

They used yours to send replacement parts to fix the broken ones.

 

That would be my luck. I'm just tired of waiting. I'm in a time pinch to get this to my house. I am going to Florida for vacation on April 9th and at this rate it won't be here until I'm gone and no one will be home.
